I was at most 12 years old when I first played this game, and even though I didn't speak English back then, this intro gave me goosebumps. It was what birthed my love for basketball. I haven't played any other NBA 2K games other than this one, all of the negative feedback people give about the latest titles discourage me, but this game will always be one of my favorites.

The first part of this, I really looked into it.People think that it's just part of the game,but it really helps you outside the video game and on the court.I listened to him speak,and it went into my heart.I now realize that I need to push harder in my game, and strive for the impossible.Now I have that pit bull mentality to be the best at my school,on the streets, and during games.I just hope people younger than me (I'm 12) would understand my message and do the same.

I was in the 7th grade when this banger of a game came out. Even though I NEVER played it at the time, my uncle was a big 2K guy. I remember coming home from school almost everyday, hearing and watching that intro on the screen as I walked through the door. The nostalgia I felt seeing this is unparalleled.
