All I want from 2k is to fix the cheesy AI on fukin defense, and gain license from TNT/ESPN for presentation.

Gotta say as an outsider this is one of the most graphically realistic games I've ever seen, wish Fifa was more like it at times

2k should have added the songs Jumpman and My Boo in the game. it fits in so well

All of the top review sites missed the fact that the coaching points of emphasis are broken as of now. I picked up on this within 10 minutes of playing the game, and have found the issue discussed on blogs. Makes you really wonder what the hell these reviewers are actually doing because they obviously haven't played the game.

I honestly enjoy the game, not too different from 16 but a lot more player customization.

The game is pretty much perfect!! Apart from the double team problem and the moving screen problem the help defence problem with your own AI team the OP badges make you shoot anywhere (easy average 60+ pts a game) or get all the rebounds In conclusion, apart from the most part of the actually gameplay, the rest is pretty awesome and it deserves such high score!

new idea for 2k, make the pass button like fifa, the longer you hold onto it, the harder it is, tap it for a floating pass. if you pass hard in traffic the player might not handle it well, so it will balance it

You forgot the constant fouling. It leads to quick foul trouble and its aggravating because the only way to control it is to change the slides to have less fouling tendencies.

MyCareer this year is boring af. Agree with skipping cutscenes that don't really matter and the animation every time you make a decision is slow af.

Why not just give it a 9.0??

Is it possible to save your rotation? Because when someone gets injured I need to change everything , and that takes so much time ??

People who play in 2k camera are the same ones who don't play on-ball defense and let the cpu handle it

Guys which one should I get 2k15, 16, or 17. I don't care about online play or my career. Just want a solid basketball game to play a season with preferably closest to simulation. Last basketball game I had was on NBA game on PS1 by EA I think lol.

What a crappy review... nothing too technical about it, what about the strict ability caps? or the same problems that carried since 2k16, and they finally add in 3/4 leggings to the game (but only team color ways).

I don't want to hate the game (i love 2k17) but the broken help defense during pick and rolls, the extremely strict limitations in myplayer and the fact that the attributes upgrades wouldn't save and getting double teamed the second you crossed the half court line (also myplayer) almost ruins the experience. Thankfully most of it was patched

The loading times kills this game. It's often and very long makes me discouraged to play often.

I can't find opponents in all game modes though,sad.

Wait, so they made it objectively worse to try and shoot with the shoot button? Why even have it? I know they've been trying to shove the shooting with the analog stick thing down our throats for the last few games, but I didn't realize until you pointed it out that they'd made shooting with the dedicated button objectively worse.

Skipping this year and probably next year since I broke my rule and bought 2 in a row (15,16).

I have not played since 2k15 and what the hell have the done with the controls. Also passes don't look as smooth and dunking animations look weak. 2k has been slacking hard
