I went 86 pass accuracy for gold needle threader and glad I did. I throw dots left and right in Rec. I use the Lamelo passing style he has some godly 1 hand cross court pass that is nasty
Hate the passing in this game. No matter how open I am, I won’t be when the pass gets to me. I’m making a pg with 90+ passing next. I’m done spotting up waiting for passes to never show up
Lebrom and Magic is what I use. I see a lot of mixed reviews on magic in the comments but its pretty solid I don’t turn over the ball really especially since I use needle threader bronze
I don’t think you guys understand in the middle of a dribble moves with LeBron passing style you will still throw dots. Comes in handy on pick and roll
I’ve got an 82 pass accuracy and been wanting to put my controller through the monitor everytime I wind up and take years to pass the ball. Whole time I’ve had fundamental passing on. I didn’t even notice I changed it…
Brons passing gets it done. For proam you could test the long passes too. All the wind up animations in the flashier styles just feel like a waste of time. They also give a split second tell ur about to pass and where. I sometimes dot people off brons no lookie behind the back and it takes everyone on the floor a second to realize where the ball went.
Can u do a test between the lebron passing and the none styles. Our argument lately is the the lebron pass and the non give u to different t animations when trying to catch and shoot. Can u confirm this? Basically we are missing alot more when someone uses the lebron over the none and can't figure out why.
Is there a passing styles that apply for the break starter badge ? I assume Lebron ? ( I planned to do a center to have 76 pass in order to Have gold break starter and Lebron Passing styles, but now I really think about staying on « none » ) any suggestions ?
Fundamental is so bad. I hate how the character comes to a pit stop and then hangs the ball over his head for a second before finally passing it. It doesn’t even work against the AI cause they read the pass and your teammate that was open is now covered

70 is the absolute minimum for having decent passing. I was doing that stupid overhead pass until I got to 70, but now I can actually run the ball up as the secondary ball handler. I put mine to 75 tho and I'm rocking with the LeBron passing style.
It is! I have 86 pass accuracy on my PG and it shows compared to everyone else. If I see you're open the pass is gonna be on time and on point 9/10 times. I also run gold needle threader 🤌🏾

2k messed up here. Why have the none pass style so effective? I get LeBrons being good, but how is none as good and even potentially better than a style that requires a huge commitment to unlock? That's plain stupid 2k
Thing is this is kind of misleading. If you have 90 pass accuracy than this is great info. But most people will be using lebron with 75 pass accuracy. Mean Jwill will win out due to speed increase from pass accuracy
It's 2ktuts bro. All tests were done with the same pass accuracy. The exact times on the lower pass accuracy are a little skewed but the information still stands.
@@Yahurr as I stated above. This is useful to me I have 90 pass acc. But lebron is sounding like it can compete. But that's only on the even 90 pass acc. Most people followed their favorite RU-vidr and have under 80 pass acc. So while lebron will be better for them than fundamental. My lebron will be leagues better because of the base pass acc
Do different pass animations have a better chance of the receiver getting better catch animations? Even if they’re slower that would probably make them more valuable.
I feel like (in all years of 2k) that has to do with ur overall pass rating and making good angles to ur pass, making sure there is a good passing lane, and some players need their feet set or nearly set before u sling the rock (bigger players especially.) A lot of goofballs over use turbo too. So if a shooter is sprinting to the corner in a break and u are throwing a long bomb, its prob gonna be a shitty jump catch sorta fumble animation. What they should do is let off turbo so they have stam when they shoot but also for a better receiver animation.
@@kennybobby201 Yeah I agree with what you’re saying but 2k hasn’t had passing styles like this and it doesn’t really make sense for fundamental to have a higher rating requirement than none and just be completely worse but then again it’s 2k so who knows
@@jacksonharrod1823 yea its goofy for sure. I been messin around with the styles a little but keep going back to bron. Brons passing is basically fundamental classic passing. It works. The other nuance is knowing the particular styles animations and trying to trigger the one u want by positioning yourself to do so. A chest pass for example is usually the fastest, most accurate, and cleanest pass. But there are purposes for others, a no lookie behind the back has missdirection for example. And u dont have to turn ur body, so faster in that sense. But if u have low accuracy, that behind the back will hit the shooter at the feet and take longer.
@@kennybobby201 also something that helps people that pass alot is changing the default passing settings to favor more directional passes. So that where you point your stick and press the pass button it'll go to that specific spot not to whoever is open which is default. I find that when it's on default the ball tends to steer towards defenders more often
@@luckyzcorner - Needle Threader doesn't speed up passes; it just makes it so that you're less likely to get a turnover when making tough passes. Pass speed is purely based on your Pass Accuracy now as opposed to last year when it was based on Pass Accuracy + Bullet Passer.
im getting so sick of hearing that current and next gen are the same game bro. yes, they are coded fairly similar, but they are far from the same game and this video makes a great example (current gen doesnt get passing styles, everybody gets the same shitty passes that move abnormally slow)
U should focus on the requirements for needle threader instead. Stopping at 85 is a damn shame when 86 will get u the animations and gold needle. 92 for hof. Its very nice too.
@@dd3allstar737 hmm weird i wonder if the requirements change maybe based on the build. But yea i have 3 build now and i can tell u 80 got me silver and was underwhelming for what i want to do. I made a 6-7 lock 2nd with 86 got me gold needle and its way better. 3rd i made a 6-3 shot creator and 92 got me hof and its got serious zip. But i been dottin it up on my lock with 86, gold needle without issues. Rec and park. I can thro long outlets and all that. Keep in mind many comp guys know to try and get 99 steel for that hof interceptor on their builds. I have that too and can tell u, when that shit kicks off, its nuts. But its usually either on or not. When its on, u will know. Everyone on the floor will know. Watch ur passes when someone on the other team starts gettin tips and steals. Take the time to make the right read. Missing a cut or whatever is better than throwing a pick.
