They have us as 17th-18th picks but is having this whole story line on who should’ve got drafted over one another like they are 1st-2nd pick🤣. we have to impress some skateboarders AND the rapping scenes were probably the most cringe thing in the entire game. And now our my player gets into trade talks even if we average 50. This is the worst story I’ve seen in any sports game.

It is the worst for sure and only the Spike Lee story comes close. Story lines are only good when you can make choices. I’m not playing a basketball game to watch a terrible movie. I want to be able to demand a trade, break up with that annoying girlfriend or leave my agent for a real one instead of being forced into these cringy relationships.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. That guy made the worst linear story ever in a 2k game. You literally had ZERO choices in its entirety, it was just a movie. What we need is something like 2k14 where choices you made actually made a difference.

I was commenting to the original comment that he said they should give an option to experience to storyline out and that would save them money on devs. I don’t understand that reasoning because if there’s an option then they’d still have to hire devs to write a story. So e comment made zero sense. I understand it’s a basketball game trust me I rarely play only every year I almost exclusively play mycareer and I am very ticked off that at certain times in this game I can just go play basketball because it won’t let me until I go ride a skateboard, something that every player in the league probably has in their contract not to do. But I can’t play the next game in mycareer until I can get passed that “Quest” . The storyline is stupid makes zero sense and to top it off I must do they quest or I can’t continue playing. If I wanted to ride a skateboard I’d go by a skateboard game not a basketball game! I’m seriously considering between the jacked up VC and making me do these quest that this is my last 2k especially if they make me continue to do quest when I just want to play mycareer! I’m gonna watch at least a month next year before I decide to buy it or not. I’m gonna watch and see if it’s the same next year.
