Yeah I remember those detailed defense video from Sam Pham. Which still works up to this days 2k24. With some modification. Like strength matters now for those bump animations!

That’s where skill gaps come into play and just knowing your build I don’t like it either but I understand why they implement it that way.

@@6r00vin187 how is it skill that Kobe fade has a bigger green window than Harrison Barnes fade ? That’s just a way to funnel players to all play the same. Same with every other sig in the game. There’s no other reason. You can’t say you want variety in gameplay but show clear advantages to certain sigs/ releases. Skill comes into play when you maximize the sigs that others can’t, not when you have sigs that give you an advantage

I try to be different by using the Kobe btb instead of Jamal Murray. But a lot of my other animations are the same as everyone else

Switched to DeRozan on my 6'6 a couple weeks ago and it's really good. Kobe wasn't hitting for me anymore and I wanted something different from Pro 2 after using that last year. DeRozan's dominant hand pull-up is so fast and his non-dominant hand is similar to Kobe's and Pro 2.

That pull up is money for me.. so smooth and easy to time. For me at least
