I will never play 2k after this year… the gameplay is alright but everyone including content creators use the same moves, same shot, there is no variety in this game, my team removed auction house to become a casino and WORSE than EA ultimate team. I am having way more fun playing Cyberpunk, single player games, and NBA Live 19 compared to this excuse of a game. NBA Live 19 is better than 2k24 in so many ways, MULTIPLE PARKS like Venice Beach, Chi town park, Seattle, Paris, Brazil, Philippines, and so much more, their career mode is easy to get into, custom season length so you can do full 82 or shorten it if you want, YT animations like Tjass, Bone Collector and the Professor, lit clothing that DOESNT COST MONEY AND YOU CAN GET IT BY PLAYING THE GAME. Shoes do not cost real money and you can buy some cool looking ones by playing some world tour games, and your character gets better THE MORE YOU PLAY, and you cannot use money to instantly make your player better compared to 2k… I hope 2k learns this year and EA embarrasses them. Been a hardcore player online park since 2k14 hut have been playing since 2k5. I love the game. The gameplay isn't even that bad. But this year I'm not spending any money. They don't deserve it anymore. Like I legitimately feel disrespected as a consumer. F*** this company. It's crazy how bad they continue to do this community.
The season pass for myteam completely went full pay to win as time has went on. Gradually got worse and worse throughout the year. I’m positive they will rev up the pay to win for mycareer next year.

I feel like the game just needs to be put into someone else's hands, like if it was controlled by the community, the game would be better bc ik i would get rid of the pro pass, bring grind to legend back, take off the animation mode that we have (the capture thing), bring back 2k20 shooting (not too easy nor difficult), bring back 2k19 dribbling, 2k17 defense, and bringing back og affiliations with a slight rebrand so it can look like a new Gen game (brighter colors, things like that) and I would bring back the park so the game isn't trying to crash, rendering everything, and i finally would drop the build prices a little more like a 99 build should cost only $50 max. Those are my ideas

The parks (elite & rise) have their own server and most people play match making games like rec proam and theater now which all have their own server too. The game isn't rendering more or less than it even has during games.
We got sparking Zero, Undisputed, CFB25, Elden ring DLC just dropped, COD BO6 and a few other games/DLC's. Stop playing this sorry ass game and expand your pallet. They'll eventually make it better if you'll stop caving in every year

For me it’s a mix of gameplay and business practices. They need to fix server input delay, there should be no reason there is such thing in a multibillion dollar company. EA has no issues so why can’t they do something about it. For business wise micro transactions need to be limited and make VC a grind but how it was for previous games and fix myteam as well. Love myteam but taking out the auction house was a mistake. 2K24 is the last 2K I’m buying until some of these issues get fixed
it sucks bc i love basketball i love to hoop, so when you're stuck inside we usually cut on 2k but this game is getting greedy to the point where it's really disappointing man theres gon be some that quit others wont but to us that still play were cooked for years to come until they really fix the game

They wouldn't shoot so good,if folks concentrated on defense,it's the players not the game,nobody plays defense....all my builds are based on defense and rebounding,therefore I lock opposing ballhogs up and get almost every rebound,so I can control the offense from all the ballhogs on my team
Nah to really think about it though, some people really spend $80+ to get to level 40 every season. That’s like you paying for new game + a dlc every season, but then it ends up being the same things you had last year!

Somebody told me since 2k got a dunk meter they should add a block meter so you can have a better chance to block that 💩 and also they should add a slap button for when mfs sell

$90 for game +$175-200 to upgrade myplayer = $265-300 just to play(crazy) +dont forget season pass (more$$$) +u buy boost(s) when u buy boosts you are actually PAYING to play each game thats just one mode(mycareer), other pocket gauging modes myteam...etc 2K robbing ppl with the money revenue streams and then cant fix simple stuff, half of the animated accessories dont work in game if your gonna put boosts in game, should be able to buy boost in between games(without exit in waiting screen)..
I was a daily gamer of 2k up till 24 I bought it but didn’t really play and now I’m satisfied to never play it again unless there’s changes. Getting on that single player game wave.

I am die hard NBA fan, but I can definitely go without playing 2K. The build system in 24 was bad. Then the micro transactions…..like come on. $150 for a build….$20 for gear….$10 for animations….I can’t anymore 🤦🏾♂️
22 was the worst,21 was the best, why do i have to have a 93 3 ball just to get a badge like middy magician on gold ,22 was the the easy badge system setup but 23 changed everything and badges were harder to get
I really just wish we could get a big enough portion of the 2k community to bandwagon the game. Even 10% of players for just one year would be a big enough for them to make a change. But the biggest part isn’t just players, it’s the ones spending $100+ every season, every week for packs or even every other day for packs.
When game developers started putting microtransactions on game features it killed the fun in gaming. You can make your money without being predatory to your consumers.
2k11 & 2k12 was the best they run much smoother and feels like you have more control of every move. 2k14 is fun too but the movements just feels mad choppy and not as responsive as 2k11 & 12. 11 Jordan play most like Jordan then any of them to those who are Jordan fans like myself.

I'm one of the idiots that spent money on 2k24 MyTeam. I've played 2k since 2006. I work hard, I like to spend money on some things sometimes. This is the first game that 2k made clear that want to milk their fanbase as much as possible, with no regard for the future of the franchise. Haven't even turned the game on in 3 months. Seems like the end of an era.

I miss when 2k gameplay wasn’t so crazy in depth. Like they tweak the gameplay to the point that it seems unplayable. Like 2k22 was my favorite everyone could shoot. If you were wide open your green window was bigger. Nowadays I’m scared to shoot wide open because the timing mechanic is horrible. I don’t get mad at dudes missing wide open in the rec neither.
By the way, those Zens aren't nearly as popular as people make them out to be, or as common. There is an awful lot of people who just like to blame losing on someone else cheating.
They need to just get rid of seasons, nothing good has came from em. You grind your ass off for level 40 rewards just for them to give you those rewards at a lower level next season.
i play myteam to have fun but this years game is so bad instead of giving us lots of cards to grind for like last year with the all time cards they gave us like 25 total cards and less then 5 dm in the playoffs it’s ridiculous

I have always been a basketball fan and always loved 2K until recently when I have become fully blind and cannot see to play the game anymore and I really wish they would add a screen reader into the game for people like Myself that cannot see very good it would be a big help

I too am done buying this and thinking it’ll change. I’m very good at this game. Been playing since around 2k7. I’m tired of losing cuz ball hogs wanna put up 40 shots and play no defense on purpose, and the game doing nothing about it. 24 is my last one until (Which I’m sure it won’t).
It would be hard to stop the “kick you script”. It’s a signal that gets sent to the server to end/terminate the session. Wouldn’t really be too hard to find the Ip addresses of the other team and send that to the server. Any really good programming script could do this easily.

Franchise has been doomed since 2k17 when they decided to copy NBA Live and implement the Archetype builder system is all been downhill since then like Paul George’s career
