Fun Fact: this is actually the real-life Sacramento Kings pa announcer Ira Smith introducing the players and announcing in the background! He did PA at ARCO Arena from 2000-2003

ahhhhhhhhhh, i just randomly searched nba 2k3 because thats the one i used to play alllll day back on the ps2 with my brother and school friends and the guy on the title screen i was always like who is this dude and so many years later, i get into nba, i get into it because of allen iverson, and then i see. he has been there all along !! im literally having goosebumps right now , life is so weird like this

Lol,i like how it says for Divac "from Serbia,14 years pro" but at that point Yugoslavia existed and on the other hand for Stojakovic it says "Yugoslavia,5 years pro" but at that point Yugoslavia didn't exist

Great game. Coincidentally nba live 2003 and nba 2k3 are my two favorite simulation basketball games and they came out the same year. My only problem with the game is the computers point guard always drives in for the layup and it is nearly impossible to guard.

2k beat out EA sports i think I remember playing 2k when I lived up north. My nephew when he was younger made fun of mike bibbys name lol we used to play 2k on dream cast or natando game cube ps ps2 xbox i hated the three times it was hard

This was the last year Live was definitively better than 2k. As a kid i edged it to Live due to the soundtrack, gameplay, and the ability to select your own jerseys. But once ESPN Basketball 2K4 came out Live was mostly a wrap for me. Thoroughly enjoyed both though.

What’s actually crazy is I haf both and used to compare them all the time but regarding jersey selection, you COULD choose the jersey but it was behind a hidden menu. I used to only play with the 76ers in their blue alternate jersey haha
