I love this video because when I make in to the nba I’m definitely not going to be a bad sportsman no technically fouls for me so I need all the motivation I can get
If we are to compare sportsmanship video highlights of NBA and soccer matches, you would notice that soccer players are much more willing to give up goals or fouls. It's not uncommon to see players correcting referees when penalties are awarded to their team wrongly or even passing the ball to opponent when its possession is obtained "unfairly". This, to me, is showing that soccer players are displaying higher levels of sportsmanship compared to NBA players. Bear in mind that each penalty/foul/goal is much more valuable in a soccer match compared to a basketball match. And let's not forget that bad referee calls are rampant in NBA, and no team / player has willingly give up a single possession in the name of sportsmanship. That said, i do recognize that it's a different ball game (pun intended). Basketball treats foul as a resource, and players play to bait out foul calls or uses foul to stop certain plays.
