"How do I build an nba betting model using excel?"
It's a great question because there are not many resources available on the topic. The desire to know has taken me on a journey towards truth, and I've been spending a lot of time learning various sports analytics modeling techniques. I'll start to share some of the best of what I've discovered.

Great video man! I build my own model for props and it started to win me money a little bit. Just 1 thing I hate when betting props is a blowout and starter got benched.

He got you 90% of the way there. This is valuable free information. If you can't figure out the rest with a little bit of research then you shouldn't be trying to bet props with simulations. It's not a scam to tease information you are selling as part of a business. You can pay people for valuable information or you can figure it out on your own, that's kind of how the world works.

What do you put the random seed at for the simulation? Does it matter that it asks for the mean even tho we are doing the median? I put the median minutes played when it asked for the mean. How many variables? I just put 1 variable. 6 seeds is what I did as well please let me know if this is correct

When I do the =Median(Data!$AF$2:$AF$19) it pops out with #REF! I’m unsure of how to fix this issue?

I’m wondering if it’s because I did his full season of the 2022 season and there were a lot of games where he did not play, so those columns had #VALUE! In them, but I deleted those columns that had the #VALUE! From when he was injured but it’s still giving me the #REF!

How would you adjust for the #DIV/0 that would occur if a player was to not get a rebound (or any stat in a particular category)??? Has absolutely stumped me!

=iferror(value,value if error) is what i use. or maybe its better to remove games that they had 0 minutes from the data set? im thinking all that matters is the data from the games that they did play anyways, because we arent going to make any bets on someone who isnt going to play. regardless, the =iferror formula will make your tables look cleaner. you can set the "value if error" to " " to make the cell appear blank. it looks nice.
