Congrats Terrence. You should have been selected way earlier but landed in a great spot, on a team with a smart GM who has positioned the Wolves to be a contender for years to come by being smart enough to pick winners like you rather than kids who have done nothing. Thanks for your stellar two years at Illinois, not only as a player but as a person. Best of luck!
Much love and respect Terrence from a black brother born and raised on the south Chicago to another black brother from Chicago I’m a 56 years old black man and I know the struggle it is to make it where we from even if if you do everything right. God bless you young brother and I wish you much success and much love. The Sky is the limit brother . If God is with you no one can be against you
Few young men have gone through more to taste this kind of success. He rose above all of the insanity and gave his all for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back. He's a winner in life and basketball.
Congrats TSJ! Will be cheering for continued success! You are an inspiration for a lot of people, working hard and over coming extremely difficult circumstances.
Went to a great basketball situation in Minnesota. They need a second wing who can get their own shot and attack the basket when Ant is being doubled...
I'm very happy that everything turned out well for this young man. He could easily be rotting in a jail cell for something he didn't do just because some groupie was in a bad mood. Fortunately justice prrevailed, and now he has an opportunity to live out his dream as an NBA professional basketball player. Congratulations Terrence Shannon Jr.
Damn dude! To a winner and a contender, awesome getting your number retired and proud of you how you has to listen to all that crap and you kept quiet and focused , Minnesota is lucky forever an illini bro , now kick some ass!
Congrats. I was there at the battle of the orange game in rocky top Tennessee. I knew we had a great team. That it was going to be a special year. Then a week later I was at the game this new hit of the chargers against him. The trip we took to see them play a road game in Knoxville was so so special I felt like the whole deal with TSJ getting falsely accused took away from a special trip and special season. He played through it like nobody else could. Thanks for the memories man. Chicago tough !!
A girl falsely accused him of sexual assault. Went to court and everything, she was found with DNA of different men and they found text messages she sent to her friend, talking about how she trapped him and how she “secured the bag”.
@@noahisuku5338and on the basketball side due to that, he was suspended indefinitely, missed a bunch of games and only was allowed back because he sued the school and a judge ruled the school had stripped his right to due process. He came back strong, but he definitely lost out on All-American honors due to this, and he was treated harshly by opposing fans. His draft stock also undoubtedly fell as a result. Basically, the kids life came uncomfortably close to being ruined.
@@noahisuku5338they did not find dna of other men, the found no dna at all both inside and outside of her vagina. Saying they found other men’s dna is not only factually wrong, it also implies she was actually and victim of the said assault and simply identified the wrong person. NO she made it all up
He shattered Illinois' single season record for most points in a season and he scored the third highest number of points in the country...despite being suspended for six games because he was charged with rape. He would've had to sit the whole season if he had not sued the school and gotten an injunction to let him play because he hadn't been given due process.
Great to see this young man persevere! The malicious attempts from the alleged victim, The Lawrence Police Department, and the DA's office in Kansas. Not to mention all of the evil people including students, faculty, and staff from other schools on the road that chanted disgusting things at him. How ya like them apples???🤣🤣🤣🤣
