We need to move off the kuzma contract and we have to fill that cap number with someone wizards cant lose that 20 million dollar salary hold or else they have to pay a random player in FA might as well bring in someone who is a proven professional

Yup, I think Tidjane Salaune is the guy Dawkins is targeting. He loves those young raw players that the coaches can mold. I think he has a case for the second pick, but we need to trade kuz if we were to take a wing there, so they can properly develop.

There's an interview with Tidjane Salaun (BCL Diaries) where he mentions Kuzma went to France and watched him play. Tidjane got a photo with him and said "I'll see you in 2 years!". Tidjane is confident AF and coming for that 4 spot

Also same interview had him wearing a Thunder jersey as a kid with the number "9", which was either Serge Ibaka or Jerami Grant while Dawkins was with the thunder....so he's gonna interview well

If we go Risacher, I’d want to see us hit an area of need like Filipowski or Isaiah Collier with the next pick (assuming a trade up).

For me if Sarr is gone to ATL then for #2 I’m looking at Topic, Risacher, Clingan and also Holland. Cody Williams I am interested in but maybe we can trade back into the lottery for him.

Ingram is a good player, but he isn't better then Beal or Porzingis. The team maybe will improve but not as much as needed to be really good, so therefore the team need to keep going on rebuild. According to the rumours, the Pelicans wants Deni and the second draft pick (the highest value assets). Even Kuzma worth a lot as an asset, so you won't trade him for expired contract. I disagree about the trade market. The Wizards must be active and trade players for young talents/draft picks (Kuzma and Shamet that his contract worth a lot for teams who want to clear cap space).

Hi Brendon, love the Show! Few teams are interested in Deni, like Pelicans, OKC, Sixers, and Memphis. Should we utilize Dani's value for more first-round picks, or wiz should keep him?

I don’t think he really fits on the Pelicans, they alright have logjam at the wing position and Zion playing PF. He would fit good on all the other teams though.

Good question. I think we should keep him. He's an ascending talent that's only 23 years old. Imo him and Bilal are the only true long term players on the team. Poole and Kispert (excellent 6th man potential) could possibly be also BUT Deni and Bilal are guaranteed.

Not sure why you would say that Deni needs to be a 3-and-D player after he has proven this season that he's most efficient when he takes the majority of his shots driving to the rim.

I agree 1000. I guess what i was saying is that this is the year where he cement himself as a 3 and D wing. He broke out last season, this is the season where he cements himself.
