Man i really missed games like these where you can see how much the players want it and the refs not calling on the slightest touch and let it play out and most of all Kobe ❤
AGREED. A different era of nba b-ball,now it's cuddle defense, euro 2/3 steps, forget about getting into an offensive players personal space. LOL. Guys are shooting behind the 3 pt line and making their shots too. LOL.
@@MrOneanddone91Did you watch the NBA during the 90s and 2000s? It's still a night and day difference 😭😭 you sound like you just started watching basketball recently and are impressed when they don't call a foul for breathing on a person
Thanks to his teammates 💯, just as when Shaq was finals mvp every year playing with Kobe. 💯 Most overrated player ever to me. Don't mention Kobe with LeBron and definitely not Jordan. 4 finals mvps for LeBron, 6 for Jordan Kobe, 2. And he shot 6-24ingame7 of this series. 💯. Most missed shots in NBA history, Kobe 💯🤫🤡😂. This is only basketball 🏀 talk, I hope Kobe and his children are at peace with the Lord.
@@derrickharris6932 but the in this finals game 7 everyone shot badly kinda like 2016 finals when everyone shot badly. But Kobe had a ton of rebounds this game to make up for the bad shooting night
hard to believe Ray Allen missed 18 consecutive 3s but he did. honestly we got lucky he went into a shooting slump he shot even league average Lakers would have lost this series.
As a fan of the Celtics, I'm disappointed to see him missing the 3s.. I watched the game 7 on TV on that very day..and as I'm watching the game after more than 10 yrs later now I can't help myself wondering the Celtics would have won the championship if Allen had not missed any shot chances... 😢😢
It's not luck! It's all about the massive pressure of the FINALS and how each player handles it. It is an anomaly for sure, but it was all fair and square.
But Kobe was backing off Rondo and cheating on the side Ray was coming off a screen. That was a defensive series and whoever won the rebounding ended up winning the game. And remember Kobe was playing with a broken index finger and bone spurs in his ankle. Everyone shot poorly in this series The Truth, KG and Ray Allen. Kobe did with his broken index finger and bone spurs in his ankle.
No not how hard it is to win, it was hard back then. That doesn't account for the trash the NBA is today. You sound like a muppet, when you don't speak truth.
Ofcourse, its so easy to beat team that goes into finals playoff third time in a row... THAT HAS THE ANALOG OF MICHAEL JORDAN who can take over the offense any moment and destroy you. So you have to put at least 2 guys on him MINIMUM. And to remind you, there is 4 players on lakers team that needs to be watched over....
@@iLooking123 dude the Celtics were stacked, Ray Allen kg rondo perkins, peirce starting 5. They had no business losing this series up 3-2. Cs were the better team
@@Nuksukow They were in 2008. After lose, and 2009 finals Lakers just got more experienced. Plus I heard (maybe I'm wrong) that in 2010 KG or some of Celtics had injury or something. But Kobe had injured finger and his knees always were a problem for him. I agree. Overall Celtics should be better but Lakers just wanted to win and revenge so they basically had to play at the same level as Celtics. Mentally they were better.
The lack of outside shooting creates an illusion of great defence. Half the players who played in this game would not shoot a wide open shot outside of 15 feet. Super easy to defend that
sorry ... I tried.. I really did... But this game compared to the Bulls vs Pacers finals was so boring.... You can see how much energy, sophistication , and love was lost... WATCH THE BULLS AND PACERS finals Games 2 in 97 and then argue me after
@@JWhack really go watch a Bron highlights and you'll see them praising Bron go to any Kobe and MJ highlights and you're guaranteed to see them mention Bron.
