Still can’t wrap my head around this. Thanks for your thoughtfulness on the shoutout and a great edition to the imperialism series on youtube! Much love!
Bro... I literally thought the same thing.. This is a real man.. He said " so before you subscribe, go subscribe to deans world first".. Very thoughtful.. He just earned both of yall a subscribe.. Keep up the great work fellas.. Peace and love
This was actually a mode in an old NBA game called NBA 09: The Inside, but it was called Conquest Mode. One of the best features I've ever seen in an NBA game, idk why no one has attempted to bring it back.
This was also in fifa 2010 in a world cup mode, you get to steal a player if you win and completing more challenges in the game gets you better players, i have no idea why they took it out
This video idea is so creative, but very few people could ever execute the idea with so much humor while also drawing me in so much. Frosti you rock man!
Great stuff, thoroughly enjoyed it. I would suggest using bordering states instead of a compass for attacking, that way there's always a guaranteed capture/matchup instead of respinning. And maybe add Canadian provinces to the list of territory to conquer.
Great video man! Just found the progression of the Delmarva peninsula funny, the maryland part was originally unclaimed but it seems you realized it was there and colored it in, but left the Virginia part alone the entire time. Such a silly region in terms of state control of it.
If I could make one recommendation it would be to use injury free rosters and turn off injuries it would have made the game more fair for every team. Still an awesome video!
Love this concept! Always wanted to try something like this. Couple things I might add: 1. If the attacking team loses they don't lose their territory but get poached a player. Eventually if I team gets poached enough they have to start a bunch of bench players and get taken over easily whenever challenged. Plus more player movement in general would be quite interesting. I know that would make for a longer video but more ad rev right? Could turn it into a series. 2. I forgor 💀 - I'll edit this if I remember 3. Add the rest of the Canadian provinces, dammit. I'm dying to see who takes over my Saskatchewan! Could even add old teams like Vancouver and the Sonics.
I was thinking something similar, like if a team captures a territory, they should be allowed to lose a game/territory without losing everything, otherwise capturing land seems pointless if you can lose it all in one game. (Overthinking I know lol)
@@mattharrington4838well the point is to collect players thruout the territory expansion, like yes it’s more likely for people to be matched against them but if they already beat a cpl teams it should be unlikely, until they match up against another powerhouse. I will there should be some exceptions to try to keep superstars around, and to reward underdogs for upsetting them
This video concept is really dope. If you do this again I recommend allowing teams to take a team’s best player AND any players that team has taken. For example, when the Hornets beat the Grizzlies who had Kristaps, I think they should’ve been allowed to take both Ja and Kristaps. Because then you still get every team represented and it feels more like each team is an actual collective of talent.
