They feared that he’d play with them for a few years, then take his talents to yet another team to hope to get more than 6 rings. They feared how he’d say he’s the greatest ever, and forgot about how his teams helped him get those championships. You know…the usual.

U can guard lebron 1 on 1 …n have u notice he always scores off screens alot ….he only bullied smaller ppl that guards him… he slacks on defense… he blames everybody but himself for loses, he dont have a killer instinct…really not a clutch player… he not a team leader … he always criticize his players …he soft… lebron definitely not a threat at all!! It's crazy. In all his years in the game, you never see Jordan talking to anyone else as easily as he looks when talking with Kobe. Everybody else got the 'this is my job' conversation- basketball story of Jordan doing this or Jordan doing that. In every video I've come across of these two, they gave off more than a 'workmate' vibe. Almost as if seeing each other back on the job after family vacationing together just the other weekend and now they're catching up on things to plan the next one. I don't know. That seems to be the vibe in every video of these two on the court together. Anybody else?

As far as I know it was only 4 basketball players that made it common, game to game, to call how many he felt like having on you in random games and would actually do it. Wilt, Mike, Kobe, Dr. J. Pistons after 2007 wanted no smoke with LeBron. When Derrick Rose in his MVP year was told by reporters how impressive his explosiveness and athleticism was, he asked them have they seen LeBron because LeBron’s the bigger and stronger version. Ray Allen broke up the Big 3 after getting mopped by LeBron. Toronto Raptors were in LeBron’s back pocket. Golden State Warriors begged KD to join them. None of those players or teams may admit it, but their actions have shown that they too feared LeBron in his prime…once LeBron retires and the coast is clear, the stories will start to unravel.

You can't say they were the same then turnaround and say they were similar. Kobe was a great player that was the closest to emulating MJ. But they were not the same. Regardless how Kobe mimicked so much of MJ's moves, Mike had something that was original that can't be duplicated regardless of how much a persons game resembles. Mike had an art form, a beauty, an elegant ability that when he done things it just looked effortless. Even when he missed it was exciting. Something's can't be taught it just comes naturally to some (gift). The only other person that I know of that had that to a degree is Dr J. And I didn't see Dr J play in his prime. I just saw videos and heard stories. And I'm a late 70's baby also.

Facts, a real competitor is not “terrified” of competition, they embrace it. Most of the people guarding Jordan were sorry anyway and Jordan never had to guard the great players during his era for extended periods like Malone, Barkley, Hakeem, Shaq, Mullin, Magic, Bird. Best player Jordan had to guard in the playoffs was Drexler. Pippen, Grant, Rodman we’re tasked with guarding the HOFers.

Cap. The Bad Boys were incredibly impressed by MJ. That's why Coach Daly came up with Jordan Rules. And they still couldn't stop MJ individually. It was the rest of the team that didn't impress the Bad Boys. Zeke even said they knew they would be in trouble if MJ ever got real help. And once Pip and Grant finally grew some knutts, the Bad Boys were done.
