God i love Noah. It still hothers him to this day. He knows if D Rose dont get hurt the Bulls take over the league.

One of if not the biggest what ifs in NBA history. DRose MVP season was absolutely insane. That 50 point career high with the Wolves brought me to my knees rejoicing. This dude is special.

I’m from Chicago and was too young to truly appreciate Jordan. D Rose won the MVP as I started going to a university that pretty much had the united center on its campus(UIC). I went to so many games that year he got hurt. I haven’t been able to watch a bulls game ever since. I think I was more of a D Rose fan than a Bulls fan and it devastated me.

Thibs definitely killed D-Rose career but I feel the Bulls(organization and team) played a huge part as well

It’s their bs organization. Look how many injuries since the 2000’s. It’s still happening with different coaches.

It was D-Rose, his landing is what killed him, he was just too explosive.
@randomman057
@randomman057 6 дней назад
@@user-ew9og5vf3g He tore his ACL when he jumped. The way he would contort his knees while jumping most nights is what led to it. I still vividly remember that play, he did one of his usual jump cuts, got some height and that was it. It blew up on the way up. What others said about Thibs and the Bulls being partly to blame is absolutely true. D-Rose carried those offensives mostly on his own possession after possession, because they never put the pieces around him. And Rip was right, Derrick had no reason to still be in that game when he tore his ACL the first time. Would it have happened later in a following game? Yeah, maybe, but we don't know that for sure.
@user-ew9og5vf3g
@user-ew9og5vf3g 6 дней назад
If the ACL is gonna tear, it’s gonna tear, look at the way he landed every time he dunked, it was definitely from overuse, he needed to learn how to land when dunking. Just an unfortunate situation. MJ played over 38 minutes a game, played both ends. It just happens, sometimes it’s bad nutrition, luck, and overuse. DRose played wreckless and that’s who he was. He was a beast, best player since MJ who I watched.

It really sucks that he got hurt. I love roses game. Everything about it. And I loved his story. I look back on his dominant years in nostalgic pain.

Drose hands down would have been a top 3 PG all time, above Westbrook, Paul, curry ( would have still be the greatest shooter ). Drose rookie year I was a KG (therefore a Boston/rondo) fan, until that round 1 playoff matchup. I didn't watch Jordan until mid 90s and Kobe or AI didn't win early on, Bron didn't even make the playoffs, other than Melo id never seen a ROOKIE come in and really make the championship favorites 3 HOFRS have to win the FIRST ROUND ON A WISH, HOPE, AND PRAYER 😂

@kayd221 He was a freak of nature. Usually when his type of injuries happen you look at strength and conditioning. People saw that physically, he had an NBA body when he got to the league, so that weight training may have been lost with the staff and Rose. Also, with the way he contorted his body to make those insane moves and cuts, put a lot of stress on his joints. Folks blame Thibs, and I believed that he should've been taken out of that game. HOWEVER, I think that particular injury was gonna happen eventually because it was a non contact one

Derrick Rose wanted to be on the front he was a competitor and sometimes we make bad calls I truly believe wanted to be on the floor that is why I truly love the effort he gets it's always 110%
