The Irving video from last year they said the same thing and look what we got I'm skipping out on live again until maybe next year when they can truly compete in my opinion soon as crew mode is unleashed on current gen and they tell us more on myteam and myplayer it's a wrap for live all they had was ultimate team and dribbling last year.

Robert Romo Because we're all consumers. You should care about the quality of the products you're buying. It's the same thing with Call of Duty. They just spit out the same game over and over again with incremental changes, and it's a top seller. EVERY TIME. There's no pressure on them to innovate or overhaul the game if people keep spending millions every year on a mediocre game.

Notice how 2k has been on the decline since 2k11. taking out game modes and then bringing them back like it's something new. 2k was starting to get like madden all comfortable with no competition. this live is gonna light a fire on 2k ass. 2k is gonna sale better obviously since live been put of the way since live 10 (I'm not gonna even count that garbage released last year called live 14)
This trailer just shitted on Nba Live 14, but Nba 2k15's Yakkem trailer shitted on this trailer, and the Yakkem was out before this one. What I'm getting to is that EA topped their own game but still failed to top 2k. This looks cool though
I'd just like to say that shaq and ernie johnson (I dunno if I wrote his name right) look like shit in the yakkem trailer, I mean, couldn't they just remaster shaq's last gen face and put it in the suited shaq from the trailer? And I think live's graphics are just as good. Anyway, it's a great improvement compared to live 14
SuperBagys Yeah Live is improving, they have potential, but lets not forget that nba live 14 trailer looked amazing but the actual game was horrible. I don't trust EA. They hit you with all these teasers and end up releasing garbage. I'm not saying 2k is perfect either but they're still so far ahead of EA when it comes to these sports games.
I played the game at Gamescom. The animation aren't stiff. They aren't as smooth as some of the 2K animations. But they are much more authentic, also with the fact that they have a solid physics engine for the post play. I like the way it felt better than 2k14, but then again it should be better than a title released a year ago, so I don't know.
It wasnt flawless, you can still see that stiffness in the animations, character models are expected to look like that since the stopped caring about live 14 and started working on this one, plus Ill believe it when I see actual gameplay when the game is realeased, cause 2k has been beating any other basketball game ( Live, and that other basketball game that isnt around anymore)
I rather get this then 2k becuase EA cares about their cummunity, 2k just fucked me last year with their servers on ps4 and they take your money and never update anything #nbalive15

This trailer is crazy nice like how live just keep improving just wish I seen some post play post moves and stuff that was lacking in 14 but this is a great start can't wait to start my day one download.
I just want a basketball game where you can hear the chants of the crowd really well and the authentic voices of the PA (kind of tough to do) and more realism of the courts. So far, I like the visuals of the players from both games.
That Blake Griffin dunk at 0:33 look so goofy most of the animations still look goofy. Graphics may look better then last yr. but that's not saying a lot Live 14 graphics was TERRIBLE I bet the gameplay will still be trash and arcade style SMDH. The only sports dept. at EA that get it right is the Fifa and NHL team

All I wanna know is are they finally going back to the old NBA Live controls or are they still doing that shit from NBA 2K? I've been playing NBA Live since NBA Live 95, not sure why they changed the controls on that one with Dwight Howard on the cover, but they need to change it back.

dtizzle Exactly! Instead of leading, which they were doing for the longest, they decided to follow what 2K was doing. But yeah, '06 was dope! I don't think I played any more than I played '05 with Melo on the cover. That was the first one with the dunk contest & me & the homies couldn't stop playing it back in college lol.
People are so stupid arguing over which game is better when LIVE 15 gameplay isn't even out yet. EA seems confident this time because they're letting us have a free trial mode when the game drops. Show some support because this competition will just make bball games even better each year.

I love live....but I've seen these dunk animations in previous years way back, just like some of the dunks on 14 were repeats....I hope has more to this game and much improved defense.... A big step up from 14 though
For real! The defense last year in live was pathetic! Lol. Here's what I think honestly if live is only going to be producing there graphics. This game won't sell for shit. Cause at the end of the day 2k is still better as for as graphics, but if live steps up there gameplay let's say 2x better then last year. This game will be able to compete with 2k. And I'll buy nba live 15 over nba 2k. Also nba live is what we were playing as kids.. Not 2k!

People need to stop hating graphics look better in some areas than 2k. And the animations aren't that bad. The game is at worst one year off from being with 2k. Maybe even one patch away.
If EA can pull out a game that lets you play NBA like GTA V (Nah, just kidding).. I mean like an NBA game that lets you create a player then you decide which college to enroll. Upon selecting your school, you will play for 1-3 seasons (just 1 season if some GM think you're NBA ready) in college (NCAA) and get drafted. If you ended up undrafted, you will have to go through different tryouts. In case you just suck so bad and fail all tryouts, you will have to go play in D-league and get noticed by scouts. If you still don't progress at all in D-League, just fucking quit playing the game. You suck. Nah, kidding aside, obviously if you don't get better, you will stay as you are and your player will never make it to the NBA until you fucking get yourself together. Or probably just play basketball against kids in Cambodia.
The game obviously looks 10x better than last year but with that being said it still looks arcadish, and I'm not trying to hate on it I would love for their to be two great basketball games on the market at the same time so these companies can stop putting out half ass games

kedricsample If you're an arcade player than live is your game. I want as close to sim as possible. You haven't played 2k15 by your tone. I always get the best game every year I just haven't purchased live since 08 because it became to arcade like to me. I could shoot 3's consistently with Garnett and with almost any player in general. Stick to live if you want arcade, I don't know what 15 looks like right now but from what I've seen I'll only play the demo because the animations don't look fluid. Do I want live to succeed hell yea I don't want 2k to become what madden has been for the past couple years. I'm not a fanboy I just always will by the better game. 2k My Career is the biggest selling point for me especially since live clearly stated they have no plan in implementing cutscenes or any RPG like feel to their superstar mode, that's a major deal breaker to me. 2k simply gives me more, only thing that I don't like about 2k is the launch day servers. Pick up 2k15 then reply to this and tell me 2k is not good and I'll leave it at that. I liked Elite 11 for what they wanted to do they just couldn't execute.
paul brunache I do have 2K15 .. Don't like it. This is the 5th year in a row where I bought it , and didn't like it. The AI and alot of the outrageous bull that I see throughout games just fucks it up almost beyond repair. Lucky for them I actually mess with sliders cause they are the only reason it's still in this house.
they do now that gamestop reported a large return rate on 2k15 since the servers keep crashing and people havent gotten their preorder packs and 2k hasnt said anything about their crappy servers lol just wait and see
This looks really good and I'll truthfully say that live has been awful for many years and that's why we all were forced to buy 2k. To be honest 2k isn't great and if you scrutinize the game (graphics, gameplay etc.) it's mediocre. However, because of us not having an option to chose between 2 games we directly subliminally make ourselves believe that 2k is great. In reality 2k isn't great and has a lot to improve. I will buy this game instead of 2k if and when I see a preview of the gameplay. If the gameplay is great, combined with these graphics, which are exceptional, I will definitely go with Live. 2k is just boring and the characters are very stiff. Props to live for stepping it up big time, on the graphics of course since that's what's displayed for the most part. 2k lovers, I'm no 2k lover or live but I will openly admit, live looks better thus far.
This looks way better than last year's version. Might have to get this and 2k15 both this year. Sports games in general feel much more polished than last year's efforts.

Okay Live I see lots of improvement here and I can honestly say there's hope for the future now. There's still a lot to improve on so don't get me wrong but I'm definitely liking what I'm seeing. Keep up the work!
