I grew up with this game and recently got it off EBAY myself so I know it was only a few bucks so for that, yes it's worth it. It was the first Live made exclusively for the new PS2 so issues were to be expected as with all new consoles in their first year or so. But I think you'll enjoy it. It's more a game for nostalgic fans who remember it so I wouldn't have high expectations, play it just to get a feel for what it was like back then. Rasheed Wallace is a beast in the game too. Try him.
For late 2001 the graphics are very good in this game. Today we have nba 2k14 on ps4 and stuff, but do you imagine how 2k14 would look like in 2026? Cause i don't know. I bet it would look like real life
Breonn Burgin Correct, I found that out after typing this comment lol. I originally heard that the 360 could only play games that were the Platinum Hits edition, but I'm not sticking onto that belief anymore now that this game works.
Thanks for help man. i have the game right now and it's really good. Yeah for nostalgic fans it's not bad. a lot of people say that this game is a masterpiece and a lot of people say that it is a piece of shit. i don't think that it is perfect, but i really like it
I never played this game (my first Live was 2003, but I did later play 95 and 98). Does this work on Xboxes released in 2004 or later? I need to know because my Xbox thinks that my copy of 2003 is a movie for some reason.
skill level??? I've heard something that a.i. in this game is very bad [even on superstar skill]. is it true? I love the game and i recently bought it from ebay. I DON'T have the game because the shipping is so dam long! Please le me know was it worth to buy it or i just threw my money?
I just got my hands on a copy. To say the least, its better than 2k21... which is a trashy basketball game... 2k21 is also a copy and pasted 2k20... and the basketball version of the lousy mlb 2k13
