I remember this on ps2. This game was ahead of its time. Weird thing is it looked better than the lives after. Even live 07 (the best original live)

This was when NBA Live was on top of the world. 2K was already out back then but casual NBA fans didn't liked the animations compared to Live.

Lol 01-02 was tough in Philly they lost both games to the Kings. That roster was pretty trash Vonteego Cummings lol.

It's upscaled running on the xbox360 at 1080p. On regular hardware no HDMI Live 03 looks a little better but the presentation on 2002 is better in my opinion it's just live 03 revolutionized modern hoops with that freestyle stick.

Kobe stats are maxed out look at his black shoes, anytime in NBA live 02 if you edited a played his shoes would stay black rather then switching to white for home games

I know what you're talking about however with the shoes sometimes it does that but sometimes it doesn't. It definitely did that on Live 2003.

@@DerekTurner1985 im 33 so i remember playing this on my playstation 2, you are right it didnt do it all the time but i remember i would put AI, Kobe & VC all on a team with maxed stats, good times

@@charliebeanmcdaniel I was just reminiscing on how OP Kobe, T Mac, Pierce and VC was on 2003. All you had to do was spin from the top of the key, hold turbo by the FT line and dunk lol.
