Not mentioned in the video, but the Nuggets didn't make any headlines with their roster upgrades, but trading Monte Morris and Will Barton for KCP, drafting Christian Braun and signing Bruce Brown to shore up their defense might be one of the more underrated off-seasons in the NBA. All of these acquisitions are defensive players and shore up their perimeter immensely. Adding to Aaron Gordon's defense and then two 20 ppg scorers in Jamal Murray and MPJ who are healthy to the 2 time defending MVP in Nikola Jokiç, these Nuggets might start slow but will turn some heads come playoff time next year.

The Raptors don't need to make a move to be winners. If they sit pat and keep their core intact, their "moves" are internal growth and developments. Getting Kevin Durant for half our team would instantly make us losers.

The Jazz are the biggest Winners of this off-season. They got 5 first rounders, basically Six if you count Kessler. While trading only TWO guys, one not being Donovan. When they do, they’ll add 4+ more draft picks and a bunch of young players with crazy potential.

Lol I know nba RU-vidrs don’t watch the wolves, so I can’t fault them for factual wrong takes but the wolves have plenty of perimeter defenders Kyle Anderson, prince, McDaniels, ant who has made strides since year one, even Dlo has made good strides with the new coach, Austin rivers, McLaughlin (who lacks length but is going to bust his ass) minott, Wendell Moore. They have far more wing defenders then gobert has ever had. Just in the future actually watch the wolves and do some research before you have a take otherwise you sound uneducated. Like you do now.

Grant and payton are great defensive additions and some of the summer league championship guys will make an impact this coming season as rotation players. Plus..like you said; they ain't done yet

Biggest loser of the off-season: The Hornets. They found their head coach of the future, Kenny Atkinson. He accepted, then backed out. This left the Hornets scrambling and they offered Steve Clifford. Again. After he was just fired from there a few years ago. And then Miles Bridges. The Hornet's #2 player of the future. The close friend to their franchise player. The Hornets were prepared to match a max salary for him ... and then less than 24 hours before free agency opens, he is arrested on felony domestic abuse charges. He's still unsigned. This, of course, happened shortly after the NBA draft where Charlotte traded their 13th pick away when there were some fantastic wings still available. Going from one of the best young teams in the NBA to suddenly having a fringe all-star arrested on felony charges. Yikes. (And, obviously, I feel for Miles' wife and kid. That's heartbreaking. I wish them all the best.) No one had a worse off-season. I went from hoping they'd be a top 5 seed to now hoping we get lucky in the lottery and get Wembanyama to pair with LaMelo.

Gobert is in a much better situation now than he was in Utah. Younger and more athletic teammates. Edwards and Prince can handle the perimeter duties as well as McDaniels and Slo Mo.. Pistons and Celtics are underrated winners. Pistons avoided giving miles bridges that max and turned jeremi grant who’s gonna be out of his prime in a few years into jalen duran.
