@@martinborgaard They split with the Bucks on the season and the Bucks are not up to full strength or operating up to their potential. But they should be both when the playoffs begin. Giannis always shows up for the playoffs when healthy. He was out for most of the series against the heat. The playoff series before that the previous year he took Boston to 7 without Middleton and became the first player in playoff history to put up 200 100 and 50 in a 7 game series. Then we're adding Dame to that and the Bucks can beat anyone.

And even in the win against the bucks, they never played their best game. Another reason is Denvers team is more complete and better than the bucks

No team can really contain a fully locked in Jokic, but the Clippers REALLY can't. The Clips are the team that can make the WCF with fire power, but they just have nothing at all for Jokic. He'll have an absolute field day against them, really just doing whatever he wants every night. Youre not gonna beat that with wing play, no matter how much star power you have out there.

@@kingad8869 as a Warriors fan i can tell you that we almost choked against James Harden and one-leg 35y old washed up lil cp3. We were allergic to big strong physical teams. The Big Fundamental owned the Warriors. Duncan at 37 not top5 anymore. Kobe before the achilles and a solid big is all he needed. They were the favorite in 2012/13. But i agree the self proclaimed goat did it again, teamed up with with Ky, a top5 league MVP candidate and probably best big at that time aka Kevin Love, two additional former Allstars in their 30s, a very deep bench led by Mo, Jr, Shump,Frye and Varejao. We upgraded Barnes with another top5 player coz Curry went missing the previous finals. So in 2017 we had at least 3 top5 players in their prime! Now read my original post again

I definitely think Murray is an all-star caliber player. But for one reason or another (whether it's injury or simply under-performing in the regular season), he hasn't made an all-star. Now, one thing we can confidently say is that come playoff time, Murray is a bona-fide star. But yea, in the regular season, he's no more than a fringe all-star caliber player.

I think on this show they almost always try to go different routes to keep things interesting, they even said during their Eastern picks that they postponed their picks until now because they "all were going to pick the Bucks" after the Dame trade. That should tell you how lopsided this conference is, even with a heavy incentive and desire to have hot and interesting takes, not even Nick is willing to pick against them, and Nick is willing to put the Lakers in the conference finals. This segment is basically just them arguing about who gets the right to lose to the Nuggets in the finals.

OKC is the scariest team in the West imo. Youngest team full of rising stars with nothing to lose bec everyone has written them off for having no experience. They got a legit shot at making the WCF especially if they keep the 1 seed. They'll get a team like the Kings, Lakers, GsW, Mavs who they can beat in a 7 games series, then will face an injured team like the Suns, Clippers, or Wolves in the 2nd round. They'll most likely face the Nuggets in the WCF.

PLAYOFF Murray is literally one of the best guards ever! Last 2 playoffs? 39 games on way to 2020 WCF & 2023🏆) 26 7 5 49/42/91 55/53/93 in the 4th qts! He and Joker the only 2 teammates EVER to both avg 25+ 5+ 5+ and they’re the only ones of 7 ever to avg that (minimum 50 games) to have 47/40/80 or greater! Also Murray has 4X 4th Qts of 21+ points! Since 1997 no one else has more then 1! Chris’s “super team” term is soooo corny/casual too. There have been super teams since the 60s and every decade since! Nuggets built the team mostly in house (and added Aaron Gordon), but they’re an elite TEAM. Also Nick already trying to discredit the Nuggets by acting like the West is some dumpster fire now predictably corny as well.

@@jaysonsmith7264because of Lebron and kyrie? Are we just going to forget that the cavs went down 3-1 which definitely was partially because of players but the main part of the blame goes on the coach and Lebron had to go crazy.

Unless if OKC avoids both LA teams in the postseason, they aint getting to the WCF to face Denver. Clippers will definitely be stout, but Denver over LAC.

I am again asking that we at least let the Lakers even secure their spot in the playoffs before we pick them to make the conference finals. I honestly want to know what the general consensus is on this. Is it more likely at this point that the Laker have one bad game in the play-in and not even make the playoffs, or win two play-in games one of which will probably be against the Warriors, and go on another deep run where they never have home court advantage? I personally just don’t see it. Call me a hater if you want to.

I don't know how Ty Lue is gonna coach his way out of a hole for thw Clippers. At the beginning of the season, the Clippers had two holes: 1) lack of wing size and versatility (aka have a gaping hole at the starting 4 position) and 2) we could use a better playmaker than Westbrook, Point Terrance, and Bones Hyland. Problem #2, although important, was not the bigger issue of the two, and shouldn't have been the priority. To top that, they decided to package 4 PF in the trade for Harden. Now, they are stuck with no depth at the 4 and struggle with bigger teams like the Lakers, Jazz, Wolves, and most definitely the Nuggets. In other words, now ½ of the matchups in the Western Conference are terrible because we will get bullied on the boards, especially in close games where we need scoring. Ty Lue loves his small ball lineups, which he brings out in these close games, but those lineups are prone to not being able to get rebounds. Zu needs to be taken out because he is too slow to guard the 3, which leaves Theis who is neither big enough to fight for rebounds nor fast enough to keep up with guards when the switch inevitably comes. In other words, no matter how much I want the Clippers to win, I just don't see it happening. They plugged a smaller hole with the material that was at the time plugging a bigger hole, and now the ship is inevitably gonna sink (ironic that they are Clippers 🤦). It still leaves me to wonder what would have happened if they kept those pieces and used it on a quality PF and a lesser known playmaking guard.

I’m tired of this nonsense about Ty Lue being a great coach, without LeBron he has not have great success, he has underperformed with the Clippers and obviously with the Cavs. But they like to diminish Mike Malone, the previous guy from the Jazz, Atkinson, Buddenholser, the dude from the Knicks, and even the previous dude from the Lakers, is just wild when they had have more regular season success than Lue without LeBron, except for one that year for some, but consistently being above average.

Jamal Murray averaged 32.5/6/5 on 52/40/95 shooting in the series against the Lakers last year. those were super duper star numbers. Murray's performance was the main reason the Lakers were swept

@@daddyfuse50 I meant the main reason the Lakers got swept. not the main reason the Nuggets won. Without Murray playing like crazy, Denver might have won the series 4-1 or 4-2. You expected Jokic to perform like the superstar that he is and he delivered. but you didn't expect Murray to play like that, because he is a star, not a superstar.
