What do you guys think age 40 is? The new 100?`:) I'm 48. I can't jump that high, anymore (I'm 7 inches shorter, and once I could), but I can FOR SURE run that fast. (just because it's not that fast) Stop overhyping him, just for being 40. It's pathetic. Most knees and/or backs are kaputt, with 40, when playing in the nba, yes. His aren't. But that's about it.
@@Zett76 stop overhyping? More like stop discrediting him u casual. Lol Name a 39 yr old in nba history that still moves like lebron. Still carrying the team when needed. At this point lebron should be a 25min max player given his mileage for 21 yrs , 10 nba finals. A few olympics 40k points. He should be washed at this point. And just going thru the motions. Even nba old heads who stayed longer like lebron says 39 feels like 50 if u are.in the nba. Why comparing urself or regular joes to them? U dont play, go to the gym or abuse ur body like them constantly. Kevin garnett retired at age 40 playing 38 games at 15 mins a game averaging 3pts. Why? Coz he was OLD. Any sport nut know 40 is old in the nba or any other competitive sports.
@@georgeanto203 "we have never seen a player 40 years old playing like that. And that's facts" Facts, okay. :) 1. stop calling yourself "we". That's weird. :) 2. not OUR fault that you haven't seen Vince Carter, at 40... (only 7 years ago) 3. still, there is RU-vid. You might use it to close that ridiculous knowledge gap. ...Vince isn't the only one, but it takes only one to kill your "we have NEVER seen anything like that!" mumbo-jumbo. ;)
@@FREEWHEEZE Nothing you babbled made the speed of this play any more outstanding, other that he SHOULD be even slower, at that age. :) (oh, wow... how impressive.) So okay, if you love to give him old-man-credits, be my guest. But OBJECTIVELY (you might wanna google what that means) his speed was nothing but average. ...still you all sound like he just outran Usain Bolt at his peak. **g**
No, you just don't understand the NBA travel rules or did not watch the play in slo-mo ... he took three steps. The first step for a player "in progress" is the "gather" when he controls the ball enough to decide whether or not to dribble. Turner was moving so fast on a dead run that this moment occurred when he controlled the ball with both hands on his left foot, decided not to dribble, and that became the "gather step" ... one. He then took a step on his right foot (two) and then a launching step on his left foot (three). This is not a travel in the NBA since the rule change in 2019. If you want more info and details, there is an excellent video site for the referees online and easily accessed. The videos are accompanied by reference to the rules sections.
@@floydclark6710 Thanks for the feedback Floyd. I reffed (not NBA) for about 30 years and was involved with input on the training videos in 2019. A play at that speed is like a bang-bang play at first base in baseball ... they need replays at times. The NBA refs can "see in slo-mo" because they watched this same series of steps a thousand times and are required to watch the very explicit training videos over and over. It was a great rule change to allow three steps due to the increased action, less whistles, made the Harden step-back three legal, as well as the spin move down the lane, resetting the feet for a corner three, some fancy passes and handles, as well as allowing for more acrobatic wind-up dunks. Many viewers just cannot apprecuate the speed and incredible stride lengths possessed by the pros. Have a good one and enjoy the playoffs ... gonna be great!
This is so nice to see at the end of the season. Much more competitive now. In the old days, teams would be slacking/resting or tanking hard a few games before the playoffs.
Great idea to have 15 games on 1 night then night off and 15 again to finish the season. Since I watch NBA I’ve never witnessed last game of the seasons to be so interesting. Wild Sunday it’s coming🔥
It is tough to watch the last few games of the reg season. So many teams tanking, many playoff teams resting their creaking stars, and then you never know how Vegas is effing with things.

How Devonte Graham stirs my very soul! From the moment I first witnessed his brilliance, a fervent adoration has taken root. His audacious buzzer-beater against Oklahoma in 2021 remains etched in my memory, a testament to his on-court prowess. The mellifluous caress with which he handles the ball, the balletic trajectory of his jump shot - pure poetry in motion! Were time itself malleable, I'd suspend it to ensure Devonte's eternal reign. The mere thought of his retirement induces existential dread. The rollercoaster of emotions - the exhilaration of his triumphs, the pangs of rare setbacks. Devonte Graham, a transformative force, not just in basketball, but in the very essence of my being. My eternal champion, Devonte, my Devonte, you deserve this number one spot tonight, every night... ☺♥
LeBron read that play clearly, he knew that opponent will try to save the ball, and run exactly at the place where they ball appears. Another high IQ play from him.
Steals are defensive awareness and anticipation combined with quickness. Also right time right place. Thats why this occurs 20 times a game. Does this means that there should be a top 10 for every player who has a steal with a breakaway dunk? No, because its a common thing is what im saying. I just wished they would include more blocks and fancy passes instead of something this common is my point. Especially with it being #2
@@Darnell-vo2wl agree, defense stuff are so astonishing. Love more defense plays in top-10. But I guess this is here cause it was one possession play, and few seconds left to play. In any way I like LeBron’s other dunk in this game even more, than this one on #2.
They saw the play in detail, and it's not a travel. You don't understand the NBA travel rules or did not watch the play in slo-mo ... he took three steps. Whenever there are a lot of games, they always make these lists before the last game of the night. That Draymond to CP3 to Steph play at the end of the first half was top 8... and it would've been, if they'd waited until the end of the night to compile the list. It was an actual PLAY.
That play by LeBron was great! Ended up right in front of Ja. Say what you want about LBJ; but Ja could learn a TON from him about maximizing work ethic & talent…b/c Ja was a potential lock for “next man up.” He’s still young though, so time will tell.
