This would seem simple but Pro basketball is the #1 sport in NY. As great and productive as the Yankees are, they dont sellout like the Knicks do. Even when the Knicks suck . Look at their record now and they still sell out. And Dolan has the luck of MSG being situated in the heart of NYC. Location , location location. People sometimes go because it has the best atomosphere of any sporting event in the city. This makes it even more of a crime that the team sucks.

I agree. While I agree with his sentiment about the owner I don't like his attitude towards the security guards. Come on bro. You're a super rich sports analyst calling out every day workers. Like they could sit there in the moment, determine what happened, and analyze that it was unreasonable and not comply. Give me a break. these are people who are making an average persons salary so they can feed their families and pay the bills. They likely didn't even know or see what happened and were just told that they needed to take the fan out, as I'm sure happens very often. The security guards didn't beat up the fan. They removed as they were told. I'm sure that on a fairly regular basis there are complaints in the stands that require fans to be removed.

Darren Gordon-Hill Owner’s rules can’t enforce illegal activity. Asking security to detain a fan for calmly expressing his opinion could be equated to be held against your will. And with that video, Dolan could easily have to pay that fan millions. How will that look for the NBA? Just because you own something doesn’t mean you can establish any rule you want regardless of legality. He’s an owner, but he’s also a member of the NBA. It would be very easy for them to cite his conduct as “detrimental to the league” and send him packing just like Sterling. He’s not bigger than the sport. A sport which the fans pay for.

The fan was right .....Knicks are trash for decades last title is from the 70's!NY city.....with only 1 title in 40 years... Its the only way because even New yorkers have given up on the Knicks.... And it can be good just look at the Clippers Franchise was sold and they getting there now with a new owner that has a passion for his team. And tehy sold the Clippers for 1bil? so he can easy get 2 bil for the Knicks with that location....and your family is secured for generations.
