They are setup to be contenders for the next 4-5 years. They are going to have to find a suitable replacement for Al Horford though and eventually Jrue Holiday who will be 35 next year
The dynasty era is over. The Heat will be a problem for Boston the Knicks, Pacers, Bucks, and 76ers all have the same chances of winning it or knocking the Celtics outta the playoffs. Relax, enjoy the championship. Boston gets one every 20 years. They were due.
That's the way it should be, and I'm a lifelong Boston/NE fan. Other than the Yankees, Lakers, Canadians (team, not people) and Jets, I don't mind seeing most teams win.
