Soon to be on this list: The 2023 Suns-Nets trade. So many people think the Suns won it in a landslide simply because they got Kevin Durant. But those people quickly push aside the fact that he is already 34 years old and, at this point, VERY injury-prone. Phoenix got rid of 5 of their next 7 first round picks, plus three of the best 3&D guys in the entire league, for essentially a 1.5 year window of hope. This is going to go down as a more lopsided trade than the Nets-Celtics trade nearly 10 years prior. Mark my word.

The Grant Hill trade is not completely accurate. Grant was a free agent and was going to sign in Orlando regardless. At the last moment, Detroit negotiated the trade to get Hill more money. In reality, there was no trade in the original signing, but Detroit Initiating that helped Orlando sign Tracy McGrady.

@@Chronz T Mac started his injuries in 2007, grant Hill was injured by 2000 and missed all of 2003, which is right when Timmy started winning multiple chips. These 3 with the horrible injury history of T Mac and Hill all in different timelines would have only lead to Duncan not winning the 5 he ended up winning

@Aaron Carver that's with tmac carrying the burden alone. With Duncan the burden is lessened. They win a few titles considering Duncan never played with anyone as good as tmac and the east was weak back then

Of those 3, 2 had really serious injuries, the timelines of those injuries didn't line up, and Timmy got 5 with the Spurs, pop, and that crew. The only thing that would happen is it would give Grant and T Mac a chance to win a chip but probably not and would pull away from Timmy's HOF career. There's no way those 3 are getting Timmy 5 total

Seeing the Vucevic entry, gotta wonder if Gobert could be a fit after Vuc leaves via FA. With Caruso, Lonzo as on-ball defenders on the perimeter, Rudy would help them so much with shoring up the middle. If the Bulls S&T Vuc for Gobert I think that could be a win-win (Kat and Vuc can both space the floor and they could probably play 5-out; their defense would suffer but Gobert's not working well for them anyways).

Minnesota's defense would be pretty bad. But, it is pretty frustrating to see teams with Gobert great defender, but limited refuse to build their to play to his strength and minimize his weakness.

Fun fact: Ben Wallace was listed as a SF in Orlando. They wanted him to learn to work on "wing skills" like dribbling/shooting. Couldn't figure out how to use him. Talk about, trying to fit a round peg in a square hole 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Dumars kind of fucked up the pistons in the 2000s. Drafting darko over melo and wade also bosh and trading Billups for Iverson who was their leader and in 2009 they were a 1st round exit. He even rejected a deal in 2009 for rondo and Ray Allen, picking Rodney white etc

We can only imagine what could have been if Grant Hill didn't get hurt. Glad he finally got a few good years near the end. That Pacer team might go down as one of the best teams to never win a championship.

Man as a Piston fan I hated the Jennings trade when it happened!It only got worse over time. I was so upset when I found out Middleton was part of the deal.It made no sense as you had a team bad at shooting the 3 so trade the guy who was one of your best shooters and had the most upside for basically nothing! This will forever sting.

Middleton surprised people with his rise as a star. With Detroit he averaged 6 points per game and did not start with them. Jennings was inefficient with the bucks also a horrible defender. Yes he was a baller but he wasn't gonna take ur franchise to the next level or be ur number one

Luka was never winning. Definition of winning in the NBA is getting rings and he has not one Finals ring so not winning. Any argument or anything about the Kyrie trade or them not making the play-in doesn't matter. 👍
