Sadly this is what happens when devs are terrible and can’t make a balanced myplayer builder combined with the community just trying to make the most versatile build since it costs so damn much. Would prefer the pie charts with sliders like in 2K20 or the dual archetypes back in 19 but we all know that ain’t happening since they lose money on a good builder. Now they gonna make new templates and put animations behind a paywall this shit ain’t looking too good.

The game is slow and unresponsive as it is. They always want to nerf animations instead of fixing the real problem which is defensive contact consistency/animations. Reaching is not defense, spamming block at the wrong time is not defense.

I feel your pain dude, I use to be a huge fan of UFC by EA, I played that game daily. Then they decided to completely change the ground game, it was like going from a black belt all the way back to the white belt in a completely different sport. All because of a bunch of casual cry babies who couldn’t win. It totally ruined the game. I swear these game makers just want to give everyone a piece of the pie. I’m just not with , hiding preset builds behind a seasonal pay wall for one . for 2 . I’m not grinding for animations that been in the game for years For 3 2K needs to go back to Arcadey gameplay because this “ simulation” basketball the OLD HEADS love to talk about is not it at all !!! Everything don’t have to be competitive base even though it’s a competitive game you can have an competitive mode for the try hard. / “skilled base people and since a lot of these RU-vidrs are so nice I would love to see that change so they can keep their ass in there I’ll watch a stream then 💯 all these people do is cry about rac as if that’s the only game mode in the game 💀 always been a park player since it was implemented into the game in 2014 so I hate to see so many people try to tear it down because back then they were not good certain people didn’t get good until 2K 23 when the game got trash, the game speed slowed down tremendously talking about “realism” 2k23 and 2k24 or probably some of the easiest 2K of all time to play they’re just not enjoyable MY OPINION 💯

Just out of curiosity weren’t the myplayer builders from 2k17-2k20 also restrictive? It was possible to make a demigod but it took quite a bit of skill to use. I don’t hear a soul talking nicely about 2k21-2k24 and they used this type of free builder. I mention 2k17-2k20 since those were the games everyone revered minus 2k18

park is probably the only reason since 2k14 I kept buying the game but if they don’t speed up, the gameplay fix the dribbling get the servers figured out any defense they implement into this game is not going to be perfect so I can get over that but I’m not going for these sim heads trying to ruin the park with “ realism” on a video game take your old ass to the gym if you want real hoops just my opinion

the greed from 2k killed he game. F2K. It's over. Been over. Last year was the first in over a decade I didn't buy or play 2K. Glad I bailed on it. Maybe Live will come back.

I don’t agree with what Demi is saying. I want my player that I grinded for that plays exactly how I want. I shouldn’t have to pick from specific templates with no customization in the name of fairness. I already play the game a lot, so I want to play it my way not the way 2k wants me to. No hoopers are the same irl, why should I be the same as the guy next to me?

Imagine being wors then EA. Again The preset build system is a good idea. Because everyone has a equal win rate ifyou take game skill out the way. If something is busted? Easy balance patch.
