The Panthers secured a double bye in the ACC Tournament with an 81-73 win over the Wolfpack. NC State cut a 17-point Pitt lead down to three with 2:26 left in the game. Pitt responded with a quick 5-0 run to get the breathing room they would need to win the game. Carlton 'Bub' Carrington led Pitt with 23 points, going 8-15 from the floor with four made three-pointers. Carrington also had six assists and five rebounds. Blake Hinson added 21 points, three rebounds, and two assists. For NC State, Jayden Taylor scored a career-high 28 points, going 5-10 from three-point range, with seven rebounds.
