** WE HAVE SINCE BEEN INFORMED THAT THE SPOT WE STAYED IN AT DROMAN NOW HAS NO OVERNIGHT PARKING SIGNS **
After leaving the very popular area of Durness and Smoo Caves, we set off to find our next overnight spot.
We'd received a tipoff about a Motorhome parkup at a place called Kinlochbervie.
Was a nine mile detour of the main NC 500 route worth the effort...

Love to watch you guys having so much fun. I'm a little envious of you taking your van down roads that I wouldn't dream taking our motorhome to. Thanks for taking us with you👍👍

Thank you so much for coming along. Buddy certainly has his advantages with the small roads, but we don't have the space you'll have in your motorhome. Pro's and Con's for both setups 😊🐕🚙

Yes, it was such a lovely surprise. Last minute decision to go and check it out. Think the previous area was a bit of a bottle neck, a lot to check out in those areas. 🙂🐕🚙

Loved the views, as did Blue! often 10-20 mins of the beatern track has is it's rewards! next year with tent on a motorcycle I will have a bit more time to enjoy the NC500, having knocked of at least two days traveling, Smoo Caves disappionted me on my last trip, Ihad seen too many vlogs & some appected more!

Well done guys amazing video haven't been in a good space lately needed to get away an packed up and traveled to Scotland it opened my eyes and brought me back to what is on are door step traveled to silver sands beach and wild swam in the sea Loch it done me a world of good that place is amazing 👏 can't wait to return but will do the NC500

We can't tate Scotland highly enough. So much to see, so many hidden places too. Not sure if you've explored the North East coastal areas, there's some great castles and beautiful fishing villages too. Thanks for coming along with us. 🙂🐕🚙

Fabulous , you 2 are .........AMAZING ......ive just got a micro camper, from a huge talbot coach built, down to a ford transit , down to my peugeot tepee, i love it, ive just got back from Scotland, being able to go to places i couldn't go before was just........amazing.

Ha..ha..thanks Jen. Yes, there are pros and Cons to all vehicles. The compromise with our wee Campers is obviously space, but the payback is the adventures we can have that the larger vans can't even contemplate. Happy adventures 🙂🐕🚙

Lovely drive and when the sun comes out with white caps there can be no better - looks like parkups relatively easy

We absolutely loved this area. Parkups were good if you left the main route and some good ones still to come. Only issue was the blasted midge! 😬🐕🚙

truly a hidden gem, wonder why we ever go home paradise ,and glad to see blue really enjoyed the beach, interesting that you mentioned south caithness was quieter, this was our chosen area and didnt stray on the main north drag being popular,, too much to see in the south with pleasant surprises along the way, we wild camp and too many spots in caithness spoilt for choice and view ,can't wait for a scottish return different area wild quiet and my cuppa tea, 😄 cheers sam
