Scotland is challenging us weather wise but we push on. Is it to our favour?
We head over Bealach na ba and do an amazing hike on Stac Pollaidh - well worth a visit if you want a challenging but very rewarding hike.

We really enjoyed this hike when we were in scotland. The views were outstanding and they changed as you went around the mountain. It was challenging but not impossibly so and yes definitely recommended. The mud bog at the end wasn't fun but the rest of the hike makes up for it. The wind adds to the challenge(or fun, however you want to look at it). Thanks for bringing back memories of this trip

Wow. I never knew the NC500 was so beautiful guys. Hopefully we will see it for ourselves in the next few months. What a fabulous vlog guys. Drove past Stac Pollaih last year. Unfortunately, old bones no longer allow climbs like that. Thanks for taking us along and by the way...recognise the van hug of relief lol 🙂🐕🚙

I had no idea the terrain was that rocky in Scotland! If one fell on those rocks it may well end badly. Loved the villages and the scenery. I wondered how two vehicles could pass on those narrow, winding roads. Praying you're trip is going well and you're able to do and see everything you want and more. Thank you so much for sharing. Truly spectacular scenery beautifully captured. That wind looked insane. They should put up some of those no crapping signs at some of the waterfalls around Melbourne. One car park at a gorgeous waterfall was literally a toilet.

Scotland is an amazing place and I have been there 6 times for holidays. Not been back for a while, so this has been a nice treat seeing those mountain roads and valleys again. This I'm sure will be a most memorable trip for you and you were fortunate not to be hassled by the growing number of people, that have taken a dislike to campervans in Scotland. The huge increase of vanlife since the 2020 events, have meant that many more visit there now and some leave their rubbish behind. Glad that worked out fine for you and I dread to think of how that hire van would have worked out for you, had it not been for an early breakdown.

Pronunciation was not to bad except for Pollaidh = Polly . Loads of park ups we could have told you about in our lovely part of the world. Looking forward to the next leg we are headed south of Fort William today.

Scotland can do all four seasons in less than 10 minutes, glad you enjoyed your trip, the Baleach Na Ba is a wonderful road, according to David, me not so much.. We have seen huge lorries comes down it, so we know that Desmond is alright. You just have to take your time. Take care both

Looks like a great trip. Living in the US where the average lane width is 3.7m, just watching videos of people driving down some of those UK roads gives me anxiety. So narrow!!
