All the more why Louisville deserved it. They played harder and earned it. A few strip parties throughout the season literally had no effect on them winning. And none of these players received any special benefits (money). Gorgui Dieng and Montrezl Harrell are the only one in the NBA.
Don't get me wrong, finally winning the 'ship was one of the best days of this fan's life, but damn if I don't feel bad for that Burke block being called a foul. Major props from me, that was an incredible play.
Missed goaltend on the hardaway lay up, bs call on trey when he "fouled" hancock (jumping backwards and leaning into a player after he jumps by is not a foul) and then that block they called a foul on trey is what at least keeping this game in to OT. Trey Burke getting in foul troulbe is what really killed Michigan though. Still a great game though.
Missed foul on the Behanan putback which would have fouled out McGary and given Behanan a free throw. Missed shove by Hardaway against Hancock which led to a layup. See, we can all play that game! Refs make mistakes, U of L won. Great game in any case. P.S. I noticed how badly Michigan did when they had to play Spike Albrecht so much when Burke went out in the first half...oh wait, they went on a crazy run with him leading them to a 12 point lead...oops.
Junkman2000 Cant tell whats crazier... You a grown man saying that to a little kid or that the little kid said this over a year ago and he was some how 100% right.
