well said. I compared many maddens and other nccas from different years and this hands down the best football simulation game. the throwns, runs, tracks, tackles, pbu ints sacks all feel real with amazing mechanics. i think tebow blesssed this game causes its simply the best.
And if you don't want your HB to outrun his blockers throw a little juke in there to slow him down and let the blocks develop. Little trick I use alot to make sure my blocks get set up before i run near the defender.
I play a lot of Madden and I just ordered a copy of NCAA to try for the first time - Are the controls between the two games similar, or will it take some getting used to? Thanks.
@KGArtist yeah thats actually happened to me a few times too. like my game would freeze for a second on the field, then during the replay, my player would stop (at the same time he froze on the field) and the ball moves in front of him/what you mentioned...weird stuff. Ea really needs to have an update for some of these stupid little glitches.
@Baseball5030 most football bugs are generally in the gameplay section and some presentation. Madden at times might show incorrect scores and stats ect...some bugs...is a good enough explanation for a video review..you can always read their written review.
I used to love madden till i realized it sucked and this game is awesome, teambuilder is sick and the ncaa road to glory has a much more involved feel than madden's be a pro mode.
my god, this game is so awesome. i just really wish they didnt make it where you have to play with the accelerated clock, it should be an option to have that. it really makes me angry to be playing and see 20 seconds just knocked off my clock.
@lionslicer9999 I agree. NCAA is way more fast pace and accurate. In madden, if I want to turn, the player will make a big loop instead of the making a quick cut.
I actually liked the demo for this game NCAA Football more than the Madden games, in reality I don't play FB-games but NCAA may find its way into my library of games. The demo is a blast, fact that I still have the demo says it all, usually I delete sports demos really qickly after trying them. The only sports games I got and like are NHL09, Nascar09, NBA09 and I have a Madden game from 07 or 08 that doesn't get any playtime, NCAA with ESPN could change things though (4 football gaming, 4 me)..
Did IGN even play Dyansty? The recruiting is different than last year, the recruits pick what they want to talk about, so it makes it a bit harder to get them, which is fun.
@CaptainAwesome2814 almost their chief but no, its got to do with the fact that college players are Amateurs that is they dont get paid to play or appear in anything (bar scholarship money). So by having their likeness and names applied in the game would constitute them earning royalties, which is a no no if you wanna play college ball. That is also why all the cover athletes are players that have graduated and left college football.
ohhhhh, played the demo of this a couple of weeks ago at my local game store and couldn't figure out what game it was... (i'm australian and don't know jack about american football)
@ncaafsufan 06, are you serious. that was the game with the overpowered impact player where you could break like 6 tackles while some one was in the zone.
