Hey bro please please please bring back another Seamen playthrough. I'm so invested. We saw the draft and were left wandering what if.....what IF Bus Jibber took them all the way home
@@briancromartie3149 yeah i finally went to my first college game and holy crap the atmosphere was just electric. I’m an fsu fan but i live in central florida. Well they had a bowl game against Oklahoma here in Orlando. Man being in person for the tomahawk chop was just amazing.
It’s the last time most of them play for the love of the game. Once they hit the pros, it’s all about money and showmanship. They have little to prove.
Still play that game. Took over Indiana State and won four titles in a row as members of the SEC.3 min qtr, Heisman mode. Went 56-0 🏆🏆🏆🏆 wasn't easy the first yr though vs Bama.
Just picked up a 360 the other day, got UFC undisputed 3, NCAA football 11 & NBA 2K8. Oh, the nostalgia. They don't make games like that anymore. I'm only 28, I might sound old but I'm trying to tell you, I'm more happy with the older games than I am the newer ones. When passion and heart actually ruled the gaming universe, opposed to paper chasers 😂
Facts at least do NFLN, CBS, FOX, or NBC. I’m glad MLB the show at least had MLBN as an alternate broadcast graphic for their game. I’m glad I still have this game though
@@moldy-mold hopefully EA Sports doesn’t screw NCAA FB ‘25 unlike their Madden counterpart. Reasons I still have classic madden games, even if I have to play them on old gen consoles. Still better than shitty madden 23 on ps5
I'm playing NFL 2k4 and quite enjoying it. However, can someone tell me whether or not Madden 23 has a practice squad you can stow players away on? That's a feature I've never seen in any game til Madden 15, which is the latest Madden I own
Back when both football video games, and college football itself were both truly special. Sadly, I can’t say the same today about either. But the memories will never be forgotten. ❤
@@CoolHandLuke813 I’m with you on some of it . But the nil will eventually get some type of rules put in place to get it under control. Other than that I think college football is fine . Still way better than the nfl
@@billythompson3647 That’s what I keep hearing. I keep hearing that NIL will eventually settle in and then everything will be okay. I hope so. Because right now it’s really causing some problems. I also have doubts that it will get better but believe me, I hope to god you’re right man. NIL isn’t the only current issue though anyway. The playoff is really killing things too imo.
The intro gave me chills. That was my first ncaa title and I played just nonstop and bought every title since and also previous ones. I don’t own a ps3 anymore but I still own all of the ncaa games for ps3. Being from Russia where football isn’t the most popular sport it was a miracle that I found ncaa football 11. I just started exploring the world of college football at the time and this game made me a huge fan. I am still to this day.
I was a freshman in college when this game dropped. It was my first online dynasty experience. There was a group of 8 that would consistently stay in the league and continue to build our programs. I remember times the league would be maxed out with 12 teams. Our commissioner had the difficulty and sliders set perfectly so playing against the CPU felt like a real challenge. You had to be on your A game because any opponent could give you an L. And the User vs User games were always so intense and competitive. Every win you got was earned and was so satisfying. Recruiting was so much fun too. There’s something about recruiting against other users that when you land that 5 star stud, or have a top 5 recruiting class, can make all the difference and turn your program around. I’m still friends with most of the guys from the league to this day on PSN.
Realistic? Do u not see how they move and throw? Hell I remember in 09 the bal didn't even spin it just floated lol the only good ncaa games were 06 and 05 the rest are shit
Purchased and played every single year from 1998 to 2014. 2006 is probably my overall favorite. But absolutely, 2011 is up there. Top 3 for me. 2011 absolutely had the best intro, hype! Great video as usual sir!
Oh gods that intro… this IS college football gaming. That passion and respect is something that needs to be recaptured for all future games. I’ll still prefer 14 because it’s pass coverages felt fairer as it had too many linebackers in 11 leap ungodly distances to pick off passes, maybe just a skill issue for me though. Also Madden 25/14 works really well, so using it after 14 is nice too. The presentation for 11 though is awesome, my absolute favorite with sports games.
The younger generation got no idea what they truly missed. It's gotta be the bands beating the drums, the college fight/theme songs playing and overall college vibe presentation that resonates with me. WATTBA
11 was my favorite that I played. I remember buying 12 the next year and went back to playing 11, and I didn't even buy 13. One thing I remember is how smooth the load times and the menus were in 11. 12 was very clunky, and even 14 wasn't as smooth. 11 overall, feels good, and that means a lot.
I remember getting this for Christmas and loading it up for the first time on my 360. Makes me remember being an innocent kid again nostalgia may be clouding my judgment but this game holds a special place in my mind.
What a steal. I was looking for ncaa 11-14 at garage sales and Facebook swap and shops for deals like that from moms selling their kids old games who realize some of them were going for a lot haha.
I ain’t goin lie the dynasty mode was something else when it came out! It really felt like a Saturday afternoon watching espn college football bro. Good timesss🥲🔥🔥‼️
I still own this game. I remember when I bought it I knew this would be a classic. And IT IS BETTER than NCAA 14. Ncaa 14 is just hyped up because it was the last one. But if you were playing ncaa games back then, most everyone said that NCAA 14 was a lackluster effort compared to the other NCAA games before it.
Thank you for giving NCAA Football credit for its amazing presentation. I mean, I hate EA as much as the next person, but I simply cannot deny how much they nailed ESPN integration in the 11-14 era.
The only exception - and this may be a nitpick - is the replay wipe animations are reversed in the game verses how ESPN actually used them in their broadcasts. Which I found weird.
Man thanks to you guys for this great made me go back to play this game for the first time in years. I was looking for it in my house and found it and happy I still kept it all these years 😌
Got this game for Christmas way back when on the PS3. So many memories of dumping numerous hours in RTG and Dynasty. Still got it, too! Also have to ask if you'll ever do a retrospective of the UFC Undisputed series or 2012 by itself.
i remember if you threw 2 or more picks in the first half your qb acc would dip but then if you threw for the same amount of td's in the second half it would go back to normal , this is one little detial i liked that i don't think alot of ncaa players knew about it's little things like this that i wish was in madden right now
Someone who is playing CFB revamped i love going back and seeing what others NCAAs had. Such a awesome series with so much hope for the next game they are bringing out!
before the outro for the EA College football 25 screen loads…. They should put the last sentence when Brad nessler said “The wait is over..College football is here”
Very nice retrospective on this game. My son saw this game at a local Half Price Books and I got it for him and he loves the presentations this game delivers. I definitely recommend this one for any football gamer out there.
Man I remember my brother and I begging our dad to get us this game!!! Taking turns debating who would ask and what to say to convince him then we got it and had a blast! Great memories man
I personally prefer 14's gameplay overall, but the presentation in RTG as well as the team intros in 11 were revolutionary. When the next college football game drops I hope they literally just port 14's gameplay to the current consoles.
That was a great college game I would love it if y’all did a video on NFL Fever 2004 I played it almost everyday back then Thanks for having a quality channel
Some of the most epic dynasty’s I’ve been a part of. We had a group of like 12 guys. All played as our teams. No one cheated with sim. Winner of national title our commish who was amKng artist would draw them a framed picture that was amazing. Gosh so many hours talking recruits amazing time of my life in general. 30 years old. Prime of my life and prime of gaming.
Man i loved this game i had it on ps2 and ps3. I put so many hours into this game very underrated GOAT status. I hope the next college football game can rekindle that spark.
For gameplay, NCAA 11 was by far my favorite. However, did anybody notice how players never progressed during dynasty mode? That’s my only knock on the game but it’s still my favorite.
Online dynasties with friends gotta be some of my best video game history moments! Battling for recruits, bowl games and possibly meeting one of your friends in the national championship! But the online glitches were horrid! Especially the punt fake glitch🤯🤯🤯🤯
I miss my PS3 version and love my PS2 version !!! I remember putting in hours with Auburn and Cam Newton and Russell Wilson and NC State during the latter part of 2010. It was my go-to PS3 game until I got NBA 2K11!! More importantly, the Presentation was on point and the game felt fun and responsive!! I’d say it’s the best PS3/360 version that I’ve played this far
I remember in NCAA 11 I went 100% option on offense and that was amazing because of the run blocking. I could easily tell i was a step ahead of my opponents. In the online dynasty (with texas) my RB I put at fullback won back 2 back heisman trophies. That was some fun times
I’m playing in 2023 I literally just won the National Championship against Alabama 17-10 as Penn State in year 3 of dynasty, after getting my tail kicked the previous two years by them.
this was such a great game, i remember playing this CONSTANTLY from like 2012-2014 back when i still had a ps3 lol. dynasty is broken on the 360, which i have now for older titles, players don’t progress year by year. i’ve been stuck playing 14 for the last 5-6 years, but i can’t complain though lol
