Usports ice hockey is outstanding ice hockey. It gives even players who were drafted by NHL teams the opportunity to go back to school and get a degree, along with playing college hockey, if the player decides professional hockey is not going the way originally intended. Do you believe players are being overlooked in U Sports to play professionally (NHL Offers)?
Hope Usports hockey grows. I was watching some highlights earlier and I noticed that it was very fast paced like Major Jr A and it’s the perfect opportunity for former CHL and Jr B players to develop their skills for the NHL. Scouts should be at these games! And there should be more advertising for the league, it could rival ncaa hockey one day. I have noticed that the CHL has been promoting games, hopefully that will help the league grow and put more bums in seats.
I’d like to also ad that the top national teams from Canada and the USA should face off in a championship game at the end of the season. Hockey is Canadas sport and we should have popular college hockey, like Americans have popular college football.
So what I got from this video was that the top usports hockey teams could take on tier 1 ncaa hockey teams, but the low ranking usports teams could get creamed by low tier ncaa teams.
Hi, I graduated high school in 2016 and attended a d1 fcs football school. I tried out for the team and practiced for a few weeks before leaving the team but never played in any games. I graduated in spring of 2021. I'm attending a usports for either a master's or second degree. Do I have any eligibility left for usports football because I know my NCAA clock started in 2016 when I first attended college and ended in 2021 fall but I never played. Thanks
This is a great question. From our understanding, your USports eligibility is determined on whether or not you participate in collegiate sports, so we believe you should be all set. That being said, we’re not 100% sure, so double check with the coach to be certain.
You have to play a game for your time to start. If you only practiced and left after two weeks you can claim a red shirt year and have all 4 years left to play.
@@ahadvising8 If this were to happen, would I be able to compete right away, or would I have to complete a full academic year at the NCAA school before I can actually be part of the team? Thanks again!
