Why did they change their style? What was wrong with the former style? Looks like they have been influenced by a couple of deep South squads. Keep it simple and don't do too much.

All I know is when I was playing on the field in the 80’s. I never knew the band was doing all that, we were to busy trying to win a game. We could hear the band cranking! Especially when we scored a touchdown! Now that I’m a bit older, I truly enjoy watching the Band perform. Those drum majors have taken it to another level. Aggie Proud!!!

I dont like it but bands been doing it for years even decades. maybe it was the school you went to didnt do it. it's more for your getting in the right mindset and Intimidating the other band
