My giant of a man, 6'2" Norwegian father, died on Christmas 2015. He watched this episode on repeat for days come Christmas week. Like he knew.. I gave him his gift knowing something would happen Christmas morning.. Last thing he whispered was that he was proud of me and my sisters. He was still holding that gold plated Viking I gave him. 6 years later I still ask him for advice in my dreams. I sleep a lot for a 31 year old but I swear I can still hear his advice. God bless the writers that made this scene. It is very accurate. Minus the pain and walking thing.
His friends still message me wondering how he's been. The two characters are very reminiscent. I just say he wishes them all the best and passed in a peaceful way. I love you all. Stay strong.
This is very true. I don't like Two and a Half Men. Some people do. A lot of people do. But Jon Cryer has done so much good work in his career, and it's a shame that the headline on his obit will read "Cryer, star of "Two and a Half Men,' dies at age ... "
He was Ducky in "Pretty in Pink," and on NCIS he met Donald "Ducky" Mallard. It was a great moment when he said, "Nice to meet you, Ducky," and then turned and said, "I've been waiting a long time to say that."
