I love Abby! And I love how Gibbs ALWAYS has time for Abby! And, the "you always know what to say" made me lol hardcore! Seriously! I almost fell outta the bed, laughing! My husband had to grab me to keep me from falling overboard and hitting my head on the nightstand! I was full-on busting a gut, gasping out loud with laughter. My husband was like "Are you all right?!"
You would be to. She has taken down two different guys in her time. One guy had a knife and tried to stab her in the back she disarmed, tied to a chair and presented to Gibbs like a trophy. The second guy took out a federal marshal, tricked Abby into thinking he was their to take her to her court date, only to try and kill her later. He was armed with a gun. While it was never shown what happened, the moment before the reveal it was made to look like she was being violently abused in the back of a van when Gibbs threw open the door and the guy falls out taser darts in his chest as Abby tooted a Rap3 whistle given to her by Ducky earlier that would blow a man's ear drums out when used. Gibbs just laughed as she gave him another jolt as she yelled, "And quit looking up my skirt!" as the guy twitched uncontrollably on the ground. It is also stated several times that if she were to kill you, there'd be no forensic evidence left behind and she has made a virus that can kill a specific someone just by contaminating a local water supply. She has outsmarted spies and hackers and has a vicious right hook yet she is still very much a Goth and sleeps in a real coffin. You don't mess with Abby. Even if you took her out, there's Gibbs whom she's like a daughter to. Gibbs is a world class sniper and is lethal at two miles. He can and will track you across the world and has no qualms about breaking laws to make you pay. He will find you, he will kill you, and you will disappear.
Abby, if that man can't see how beautiful you are on the inside and the outside, well then he obviously doesn't deserve you. So, therefore he lost a jewel and that jewel was you.
If memory serves, she was dating a dwarf/midget at the time. The writers were prepared to let the relationship go further than her typical two month period. The actor died, a supposed suicide. That is why it was written so quickly without the story leading up to it.

Does everyone know the midget actor who played her “boyfriend” actually committed suicide? This was there way of paying tribute to the man. Lighten up everybody.

When she's funny her smile is contagious, when she's talking science, she makes it sound easy, when she gets sexy, she steams up everyone's glasses, but when she's sad, she breaks your heart, and you just want to hold her and tell her you'll be there for her no matter what happens. Sometimes people just find themselves carrying to heavy a load, when it's your heart that's broken, sometimes you don't want to move, much less get over it. Notice in Fear, she does half the song in the fetal position. If you've been there you know it's a subconscious desire to go back to hide where she was last comfortable - In the womb before her life in this world began. For this alone, I'll always have your back, Pauley P. It's not just me, we *ALL* love you. And I want to see *MORE* of you and Abby's person side on NCIS. She sleeps in a coffin, and has Friends over, how much more do you need to make some MUST WATCH TV Show? Frankly, if you did a whole season with a running story like "What happened to her last boyfriend?" Disappeared without his shoes. Subtle signs of a struggle, and whoever did whatever, they stepped in 💩 when they messed with Abby! Sherlock Holmes should take notes. He was kidnapped and he's been held for ransom. They make the call with the ransom drop off call and while she vamps, she finds the perfect moment and triggers the local cops' car hirns go Beep in a random order and by acoustic triangulation ("It's just passive-sonar, Gibbs!"), she locates the kidnapper's location within a foot. The nearest cops seal off the area and DiNose-Knows is second man thru the door. Gibbs is the first man thru the door, and he's following Abby. She's the first one charging in. After all, it's *her* lover. And she's the one who who kicked in the door.
@CrazyGood88 Don't know if you looked if up; the actor for that character died only a week or so after this episode's airdate. They had to write him out somehow; the writers/producers choose to have him dump Abby.
@triplexxxsatyr I agree. I feel bad for Michael in the first place, cause that's a rough spot to be in, so low that suicide's the only option you see. I feel bad for his wife, Meredith Eaton, to have to go through all of that - that just is horrible. & I feel bad for Pauley; she'd been working with him + probably actually knew him before that, since she's best friends with Meredith. Getting rid of his character on the show this way was a big disgrace to him, his wife and those working with him.
@triplexxxsatyr They never said she was 'too big.' That was your strange perception of what she actually said, which was that she was 'too much for him,' meaning that Abby's eccentricism and general personality was a bit too over the top for him to handle, which is much more fitting if you think about it.
I made a City of Heroes character based on Abby (Abbey P), and she is my most popular toon. My next goal is to make Gibbs. I haven't figured that out yet. After that will be McGee, then Kate... I would like any input for how the characters should be styled by players of the game. I don't want to get it wrong. This is a tribute, not a satire. I love NCIS and City of Heroes, I make nothing from this and don't care to. I just want to represent people I love. I plan to make many characters based on the show, because it has been my favorite show for years. And years, and a few more.
Yes, a few episodes prior Abby was dating a little person that she met at a trade show. The actor committed suicide, so they thought that this was the best way to write his character out of the series.
