For those who haven’t watched the show in quite a while and are wondering why they adopted Rosa, long story short Kensi has been battling infertility and the couple decided to seek adoption after failing to get pregnant. Rosa isn’t a new character on the show, she’s from a case that NCIS has worked on this season. And just because someone is 16 years old doesn’t mean they are less deserving of a loving family :)
Which season/episode is this? I totally forgot about this serie.. so I’m going to catch up the last seasons. This NCIS, and the one with GIBBS and Abby, were definitely the best!! ♥️
I think Rosa is supposed to be 14 or 15 and if anyone on the planet doesn’t think that teenagers benefit from loving foster parents then the human race is surely insane!! This is absolutely a beautiful thing 🥰
I had a very similar experience like this. When I moved into my last foster placement, they made me a book with pictures of everyone in the family and then through me a party to welcome me into the family
Looks like a great episode. Was pretty funny the boss calls Deeks and demands to meet him at a certain place, then he shows up and is freaking out that the boss man is not there, then Kensi saw the sign. Props to his boss.
I agree, but unfortunately older adoptees tend to come with more emotional baggage than younger ones because they've often been abused and/or in the care system for so much longer. This tends to put off most prospective adoptive parents who often see that as an insurmountable task and too disruptive for their own home dynamics.
I love this show 100% of the NCIS's because it tells the truth and has a great story over and over again along with the action...plus the women are beautiful and the flow of the characters is connected with wonderfulness.
Everyone has their best NCIS, just like their best CSI back in the day. NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, and NCIS Los Angeles in that order, and CSI New York, CSI Vegas, and CSI Miami in that order.
Até chorei vendo...tanto tempo que a Kensi e o Deeks queriam ter um filho...ela fez tanto tempo de tratamento...e, tão legal terem adotado uma adolescente...meu casal favorito de todos os tempos ♥️♥️♥️
i wish i could have this feeling i never knew a real family i was in foster care and for 3 1/2 yrs i was in a group home. so most of my childhood i never got that loveing family experience. 😢
This is fictional but when we adopted our baby, we were not ready for diapers or formula. We shopped nearby walmart for pack of new born diapers and formula. That was a joyous day for us. 34 years later He's a joy for our son.
Yeah I guess older kids tend to have more trauma ('emotional baggage') so it makes prospective adoptive parents and even Foster parents not wanting to or scared to help them cope unsure if they are suitable. Not to mention that unfortunately lots of people when they picture family they see themselves with babies or young children , therefore they adopt what they would see as fitting in to their family
I'm sorry, but I can't get over how obviously fake his bagel eating is in this scene. Like, I get why ECO isn't eating it for real, but it's just... It doesn't look like Deeks is eating it at alll either.
Hope this was the last ever episode. This series is sooo boring now. Self righteous Sam, Dysfunctional Family, The woke twins, The never ending secret life of G... nothing interesting has happened ina few seasons now. Time to go to NCIS heaven.
I'm sorry this storyline doesn't work for me unless they still get their own baby. Rosa is like 35 years old lol. They couldn't find a 4 year old that needed a family?? She couldn't wind up pregnant while they were doing all of this?? This is tv!!!
Nobody cares if the storyline doesn't work for you, this show isn't about what you want. Rosa is supposed to be a teenager, literally says teenager in the clip. Like didn't know that orphan teens don't deserve a stable home. Like why do they need to adopt a 4 year old? Oh, wait they don't need to. It would have been difficult to be parents to a 4 year old honestly with their line of work. She can't get pregnant because she has infertility issues. This is tv and they can do whatever they want and they don't have to follow the stereo typical story line. Not everyone needs to have a biological baby nor does everyone in real life have biological children.
Not to mention they found Rosa and grew a connection to her because she was apart of a case they worked on so ofc they’d feel that connection and wanna adopt her just cuz she’s a teenager doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve a nice family especially considering how she came into their lives who wouldn’t wanna adopt her! Your just a miserable person who looks 15 while you’re probably closer to 40 I’m assuming by how out of touch with reality you seem to be 😂
