My suggestion is "bring everything" when you hit the lake the next couple of weeks. I only used jigs and shiner minnows today but I was ready to go with lead core, downriggers, slip bobber rigs and 4 tackle trays full of crankbaits.
July is tremendous fishing but it can change from day to day by quite a bit.
