At 3:44, the one in the center is Jisung! He's the youngest member in all of NCT, he was 16 at that time. He's an amazing dancer and his popping is crazy!! He's a main dancer! Jisung is only 18 as of now, and his talent is immeasurable. 4:26 the one you said was professional and has stage presence is Nakamoto Yuta, a Japanese member! He is also very skilled in dancing, a lead dancer. Yuta's movements are very powerful and I love it when he's center. And finally, at 5:39 that is none other than Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul!! In simpler terms....ten!! He is, well, 10/10. Truly deserved a solo bit there and has been repeatedly deemed one of the best dancers in SM. He's done many covers that you can check out!! Insanely talented. He also has solo songs. HOPE IT HELPS ^^
The concept of NCT is not difficult, just people don't want to know. Simply put, it is a group that is divided into several sub-units and then several members can enter several sub-units at once. JUST THAT 😂

NCT-2018 was a special project created by SM Entertainment in 2018 because, at the time, there were 18 members in NCT and SM thought it was a cool contrast that the number of members reflects the year. (Kun -- the leader of WayV -- debuted as a member of NCT-2018 and he was the one that was added to the group to make them equal 18 members.) So they created this performance for "Black on Black" to highlight NCT. If they were going to do it again exactly like this they would have to wait until 2023 because the group now has 23 members. However, that would mean that no new members would be added to the group, and that probably won't happen. LOL So, who knows when the number of members will mirror the year again. :D NCT is a very international group. The members as a whole currently represent 9 different countries and they speak 8 different languages. For example, there are 10 native Korean members (Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo and Sungchan), Mark is Korean-Canadian, Johnny is Korean-American, Yuta and Shotaro are Japanese, Ten is Thai, Lucas is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong, YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, YangYang, Hendery and Xiaojun are not in this performance because they had not debuted yet -- they debit as members of WayV in 2019 -- and Sungchan and Shotaro didn't debut until this year. This is a special performance MV so it is designed to highlight the group's dance skills, it's not really about the song. This performance just highlights another aspect of what makes NCT so talented. If I remember correctly, they actually debuted this performance as a special live stage showcase, before the MV was released, or maybe in tandem with the MV. So they can do all of this live, too. Taeyong is the one that starts the performance. He is the leader of NCT, so it's his responsibility to look after all 22+ members of the group -- can you imagine having that job? He is a main rapper and dancer of the group, who also is an amazing singer. He is so multi-talented that SM features him a lot in its projects, either within NCT or even outside of the group. Some even say that Taeyong and Mark are SM's favorite NCT members because they get the most parts in every project. But Taeyong stands out because he is the leader, and he has that leader quality that makes the leader of Kpop groups different then the other members. Leaders are just born to be leaders, and Taeyong is a good example of that. Fun fact: If you notice, when Mark first appears in the beginning when he jumps over Taeyong, etc., he says, " ... NCT we the dream team ..." And the group that is dancing with him in front during that part are some of the members of NCT-Dream. :D Plus, NCT's whole group concept is all centered around dreams and dreaming, so they as a whole are the team that is all about dreams. Mark is the only member that debuted as an original member of NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and SuperM. Also someone you need to take notice of is the blond guy (with the leather hat in the dance practice) in the front and center in the middle of the dance break section -- the one with the skills at popping -- he is Jisung. Jisung is the maknae (youngest) of the whole NCT group and he is one of their best dancers. He debuted as an original member of NCT-Dream when he was only 14 and he is known for potentially becoming Taemin's carbon copy. Jisung and Taemin are very similar. They both took similar paths as trainees with SM (both became trainees when they were around 11 years old), they both gave up their childhood to chase their dream as a dancer and performer and they have similar dance styles and personalities, etc. Jisung idolizes Taemin and Taemin says he sees his younger self in Jisung. Lucas was the rapper in the middle of the performance who told us to "freeze!!!", who was kneeling in front during the part where they were standing on each other. And, Ten is THE Soloist in NCT. He has the most solo projects of any of the members because he is their best/most skilled main dancer and he has beautiful vocals, so SM has given Ten a lot of solo songs and projects over the years. The guy whose "hat fell off" in the dance practice was Yuta. He is NCT's Japanese member and a member of NCT-127 and NCT-U. Notice how the majority of the members who were the centers of this performance -- Taeyong, Mark, Ten and Lucas -- are also members of SuperM. And that is why SM chose them to be a part of that group, because they are the members of NCT who are some of the most talented, most popular and the ones that have that undefinable "it" factor. NCT is a group with an infinite number of members and an ever growing number of sub-units. It has been said that SM has an unknown number trainees who are waiting in the wings to someday debut as members of NCT. Right now, SM's plan is to make NCT the group that never ends and never stops growing and expanding until they have a sub-unit representing every major city in every country in the world. NCT was created to help SM accomplish its plan of world music industry domination. ;P

I kinda briefly scanned down through the comments so idk if anyone mentioned but when you talk about them hitting the "invisible beats" at the beginning, its because the song was actually made around the choreo instead of the other way around. Which is insane in of itself because imagine perfecting this choreo with no song 🥴

some quick info from your resident nctzen: this was in 2018, and at the time, there were 18 members. they’ve added 5 more since then lol i think the thing they shout before the performance is “fighting/hwaiting”, which basically means good luck the guy who was in the center at the beginning and end is nct’s leader taeyong the one in the “it’s time” tshirt is jisung, their youngest member, who was 16 at the time the solo dancer is ten the one whose hat fell off is yuta lol

If you enjoy the dance practices, all of the units in nct have a lot of these, please try nct 127 wakey wakey, chain, regular and superhuman. Nct Dream boom, we go up, go and riding, Nct U 7th sense, make a wish and boss, and wayv moonwalk, turn back time and bad alive. They are all nct as a whole but nct u, is a flexible concept which utilises all the members from the sub units, which are set units. Their dance practices are really good.
I'm fairly sure what they said at the start was just "One, two, three, Fighting!' which is just a chant of encouragement. If you want a really nice dance by them to react to, they have a performance version of their song The 7th Sense, which is considered one of the hardest dances in kpop by a few dancers that have made videos of that kind of thing.

The solo dance part was performed by ten, he was a gymnastics & ballet student as a kid, he's the main dancer of NCT. After debuting he has participated on a dance competition reality show called Hit The Stage, you should check out his hit the stage performances ( uniform match & fight match : these are my fav hit the stage performances). You should also watch ten X winwin lovely dance cover (It's contemporary & was choreographed by ten & Winwin themselves)
The guy wearing the “It’s Time” shirt is Jisung, the main dancer of an NCT unit, NCT Dream (and one of the main dancers overall, if I am not mistaken), his specialty is popping.

IN NCT 202 you have all 4 sub-units combined into one big you unit of 23 members The other sub-units are NCT 127 the most popular sub-unit NCT U - pretty much almost all the members are in NCTU Then you have NCT DREAM Then last but not least WayV their Chinese sub- unit

Just catching up on ur NCT & super M's reactions.. LoL..enjoying it so far, coz they're from SM.. The home of power vocals, greatest dancers, crazy talented rappers. Pls do check out Super Junior's Burn the Floor performance video, you will not regret watching it. Burn the Floor is actually a pre release from their upcoming 10th album, which will be released next month. This 10th album is their 15th anniv album. As you are also a singer and performer, do check out their pre releases: 1. The Melody 2. Raining spell for love (remake of their own song from their 5th album). 3. Burn the floor performance video 4. Tell me baby. From previous albums, check out Lo Siento a collab with a latin artist Leslie Grace (also with the duo Play N Skillz), otra vez (one more time) a collab also with a latin trio Reik, Super Clap, 2ya2yao (read ee-ya-ee-ya-o). I really hope you're watching the finished product (mv) off camera after your reactions. I completely understand reacting to the dance practices, but the mv's (and stages) are what they work hard toward. Seems wrong to not see everything put together... I mean, you as a performer, would you not be kinda sad that people didn't see the whole piece? Hair, makeup, costumes, sets, concept, story, etc... I follow a few 'performer reacts' type channels and most watch the mv, then the dance practice to get the choreography details that inevitably aren't shown... not saying you should follow what they're doing, but it is nice to know that they saw the WHOLE performance. While Black On Black mv is incredibly minimalistic in set design, the camera work is very cool and moves with the choreography. Just hate for someone to miss it.
