fun fact : This song is actually "the most covered song" by Kpop idols in 2020. Sadly it didn't get any dance awards or "song of the year" award. However the impact was extremely huge. TIME magazine also listed this as one of the songs that define Kpop in 2020. It also has some references from the "Kill Bill" movie. Idk if you notice but Taeyong, the guy as the centre at 9:29 actually did the chorus hand gestures differently. He kinda adds his own flavor which makes it so satisfying to watch although the chorus move isn't that hard. (Pretty sure that was his own idea and flavor since he also did the gestures even when he's not the centre) NCT has been stepping up every year and they always release "new thang". In 2020 alone they released 7/8 title tracks (counting all NCT units). Three/four during the first half, and another 4 during the second half. "RESONANCE" that was released last december is a mashup of their 4 songs released in the second half. (I think you reacted to two of the dance practices already?? - 90s love and Make a wish) This kind of mashup also has never been done before by other kpop groups . It's definitely a "new thang" that no groups can't even keep up with yet.

Haechan is the one with the cool glide. He is a technical dancer who’s studied ballet and is in loveeeee with Michael Jackson! He has really cool body control and does little “oooomphs” in the Choreo that no one else’s does because he’s that good 🥰

I think this group is a work of art. In particular, I feel that the presence of taeyong at the center gives the team a clear color and enhances their artistry. His performance should be evaluated more.

Just to tell you, Taeyong the leader was such a bad dancer that even the trainer gave up at first.But he became the best dancer among freshmen in a year and a half, and you as a dancer know better how hard it is and when it comes to rapping OMG.... If you know that he sang the national anthem at the audition, no need to explain anymore how hard he practices. So I love his efforts to improve as an artist rather than just a beautiful good looking boy.

Kick it is heavily influenced by competitive dancing since the choreographer is a professional competitive dancer himself. He told the boys the moves but also said they should use their very own individual style when performing. Taeyong, the leader, leads the dance practices and adds lots of little details to the choreo (like the little finger twist during the chorus). The choreographer praised him a lot it’s really cool to see how respected and liked TY is by not only choreographers but also producers in the industry. He’s a true Ace!!

NCT really saved my 2020. Being quarantined at home and all. I didn’t really notice much of it because of the content NCT has been giving. These kids are Uber talented the vocal line is insane. Their styling of rapping is not too hardcore and all of them are exceptionally good dancers. You should also react to Firetruck and Punch. Punch from what I read is SMP style of video and performance. HaeChan, the guy who just glided dances like a paint brush. Try to notice his style of dancing because it seems like art. Although he entered SM as a vocalist he’s one good dancer. Taeil is the guy who hits the high notes, Versace guy is DoYoung also a vocalist. You know Mark. The guy who showed his abs is Johnny from Chicago but Korean descent. Mark is from Canada. YuTa is from Osaka Japan. The rest are from Korea. You’ll get to know all their names eventually. I’ve memorized all 23 of them plus the other SM groups like EXO, SHINee, SJ and TVXQ.

Now that you saw their hardest and swaggest song, I recommend you to watch their soft one 'TOUCH' by the unit NCT U ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TWla8bwfcMc.html they're almost the same members as in Kick It, the only difference is that when TOUCH dropped out Jungwoo (all black in Kick It dance practice) wasn't even announced being part of the group, he got introduced with NCT U in the song 'BOSS' (alongside Lucas, who you already saw in WAYV -actually TOUCH and BOSS were from the same album-). So, instead of Jungwoo you can see another member from WAYV that was originally an NCT 127 member before he got inactive in that unit and joined WAYV (WE STILL DON'T KNOW WHY SM ISN'T LETTING HIM TAKE PART IN 127'S ACTIVITIESSSS😭), his name's Sicheng (stage name WINWIN), you will notice him with a pink beret. Also, Sicheng has a traditional chinese dance background, he was top of his class, studied in one of the most prestigious school of traditional dance but got scouted by SM and decided to join being part now of NCT. Sorry for the long *ss background dkhfjks needed to clarify some things for you to understand, hehem. There's no dance practice for TOUCH as BOSS but thankfully we got a choreography MV that I linked above. 💕 Thank you so much Sir for your reactions, they bring happiness to my days. 🙌💚 Also, I don't know if you have already understand the concept of NCT, but to clarify again NCT 127 is a fixed unit (10 members already, no one can leave no one can be added again, but now you know Sicheng isn't promoting with them anymore UnU), NCT U is a rotational unit meaning that members can change according to the song and concept so we can have a duo or a group song, then there's NCT DREAM being a -recently- fixed unit with some of the youngest (mostly the first NCT members introduced bcs WAYV also has youngers members and now we also have Shotaro and Sungchan who reach the criteria to join NCT DREAM but we don't know anymore, SM said NCT DREAM is a fixed unit now), and finally there's WAYV being the Chinese sub unit with 7 members.
