i'm so glad u liked it! i think in the past you got recommended maybe a bit too experimental nct but i promise you nct vocals do not miss! a prime example of that is for example nct u - from home (rearranged version). i would also highly recommend the nct 127 or nct dream killing voice to showcase just why sm artists (same company as exo, shinee, red velvet and aespa) are so known for their vocals!

I love this song, it has so much bounce to it that you want to dance, but like you said, at the same time so chill and a vibe. The mix of production vs. vocals to me, was great. And I have a recommendation that I don't believe you have ever checked out, and that is the group SB19 and one of their songs called 'Gento'. They are an amazing group from the Philippines. They have amazing vocals, rap, and of course dance. But it's their style and "seasoning" that they bring to the table, that sets them apart from the rest. And yes, they write their own music and it does have depth. I just discovered them a couple weeks ago, and I think they are great. So I hope you check them out as well.

dear nctzens, my first meeting w whole nct world, was this subunit, so could you explain why sm chose especially three of them? like what’s the purpose of creating this unit, like they are very close w each other or what, or they have one thing in common? or its just randomly chosen?😊

Hi! DJJ is such a great introduction to NCT, I’m happy you found their music! 💚 So there’s no “certain” reason why it was these three specifically, but I would say it’s for a few reasons. Firstly, they are all in the same fixed subunit, so scheduling their activities is easier (this is definitely an issue NCT has to deal with, since there are so many people on so many different schedules 😅). The most important reason though, is that all three of them are vocalists and have unique voices, so it’s an opportunity for NCT to release even more diverse music which doesn’t rely as much on rapping. I would say that these three were chosen also because they fit the “vibe” of the music they have released so far - I’m sorry if this is unclear but maybe once you get to know them more you’ll see what I mean! They definitely suit this style of music very much. DJJ are also all very popular in Korea! If you have any more questions I’ll be happy to help if I can :)
