Nct dream were so young when they debuted 14-17 years old and they knew each other even before so yes they grew up together they're so close and have a special relationship and they used to have a graduation system (when a member turn 20 they leave the group) so in 2019 mark left the group and they were all sad about it and jisung the youngest member broke down in a concert because he was afraid because in 2020 4 members were supposed to graduate (renjun, jeno ,haechan, jaemin) it was so sad but in 2020 mark was back with nct dream again so this song is about all of this

7:49 yes, it's them:D well, you probably already know there's a thing that K-pop fans are fond of calling their idols babies, and usually it is a bit exaggerated (but still acceptable because for some people 16 years old probably is a literal child🤷🏻‍♂️). but as you see, in Dreamies' case calling them that is ABSOLUTELY justified. i mean... Jesus Christ, Mark was only 17 when they debuted and that's besides the fact that he's the oldest in the unit, help😭 our boys grew up together, practiced together, learned together, they have been performing together TOO, and it's one of the things that brings me a lot of warmness and happiness when i watch their content. idk, it just feels so special seeing them changing day by day, year by year. i'm always very proud of them, ngl. they changed so much - from little dreamy boys to very handsome talented young men. it's a very impressive transition, especially for those who have been following them from the very beginning (me ✋) if you guys wanna see a bit more of the way all the members changed and grew up from the debut times, i'd recommend you to watch rearranged version of NCT U's MV 'From Home'. they performed this song on MAMA 2020 and on the same day SM dropped down this MV. i swear to god, the whole fandom WAS CRYING THEIR DAMN EYES OUT while watching it. SM did us too bad after the stage that was very emotional itself 😂

"Graduation" is the bside song from the winter special album "candy", the song tells about how Dream finally "graduated from the graduation system". In the past, NCT Dream was not a fixed unit and had a graduation system where members who were 20 years old had to graduate from Dream. In 2018, Mark finally turned 20 and graduated, then they continued as 6 members namely Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung. In 2020, SM finally got rid of the graduation system and Mark returned to NCT Dream, that's why they are seven again now. NCT DREAM debuted at a young age of 14-16 years old, that's why you see them so young and cute in the graduation special video. I think now you should start with the NCT Dream guide and react to their old MV from their debut. Such as "Chewing gum", "My first and Last", "we young", "Go", "We go up", "Candle light" and others. Of course you will find their cute faces. and of course their live clip videos like "life is still going on", "it's yours", "Be there for you", "Rewind" etc. You should see and hear their good voices.
