By definition it is a TUBE not a HOLE. the definition of tube is 1. a long, hollow cylinder of metal, plastic, glass, etc. for holding or transporting something, chiefly liquids or gases. A hole is : a hollow place in a solid body or surface. or an aperture passing through something. A tube is not a hole and a hole is not a tube. Look at the straw. It’s a tube! By definition it is a tube and has no holes. hollow doesn’t mean hole. Pipes for example. Some don’t have obvious endings! Another thing, straws do not have any holes because they HOLD something. a hole doesn’t hold something unless it’s in the ground. Idk if this makes sense but 😭😭 a straw is a tube by definition. It’s not a hole, therefore the argument is kinda pointless. It’s a TUBE. A hole can’t be taken out of it’s place. IDK HOW TO EXPLAIN. there’s a hole in the ground, there are holes in pants. It has to be passing through something solid. A tube can be picked up and still be a tube. But you can’t pick up a hole.
