The funny part is SM really threw Lucas into so many variety shows after his debut in 2018. He was on Law of the Jungle, Knowing Bros, Happy Together, etc. and somehow managed. Honestly my heart goes out to Lucas bc no one really spoke his mother tongue (Cantonese). He went to Korea and was put in Korean and Mandarin classes at like 16 years old. Is so hard to grasp on to one language, let alone 2 and some people just aren’t good at it. The NCT members say Lucas’ Korean is actually pretty good when he’s with them, but he just gets nervous in front of the camera. He’s also apparently really quiet according to multiple members but in front of the camera he wants to show his best side. when he speaks Cantonese/Mandarin he’s very eloquent and conveys things beautifully.

lucas knows mandarin/cantonese/korean and speaks english really well when he’s not nervous, and understands it very well to, recently in some fancalls he got fans that speaked english and he has improved a lot doing it all on his own, Wayv in general all know multiple languages and get stuck mostly all the time they speak, they always switch towards like 4 languages lol, but lucas usually always gets nervous on camera so he always gets stuck and always smiles and laughs to cover it up, but he is pretty quite and determined witch says the wayv members when off camera, he’s more mature then you think, yeha he fools around a lot but thats to show his bubbly side , he has his wise words to say and speaks the truth and very beautiful words, he is very smart to and very humble, he’s very sweet, he always brings people first and takes care of them, and loves to make people laugh , you will always see him with a smile , but sadly these months he has had a down mood lately witch made many of us concered since we’re not use to him being sad but obviously that happens to everyone and he aswell goes through things but about a year ago they had a reality show (dream launch) and one episode was to face your fear and well hendery and lucas are scared of frogs (their phobia to be exact) hendery was extremely terrified that he could not continue with the activity, but lucas took it for the team and tried to do his best and not look scared and do it for hendery, even lucas said to the staff that they honestly went to far, but lucas was pretty scared to that he also couldn’t do the tasks , since they were in a ROOM FULL OF FROGS🧍🏻‍♀️ .... but gladly ten and yangyang came in to help , but lucas is just full of surprises, & emotions lol (sorry for writing a lot) but alot of people see lucas as “dumb” and “just a visual” or “useless”, “a kid” and just get at him because he’s very playful and says a lot of lol weird things, his talents are ✨muah✨ his dancing, rapping and even singing are all amazing
