NCT is basically a BIG HAPPY FAMILY 

Really bothers me when people use the "they're not all close" as a way to say they don't like each other, when you really don't have to be the best of friends with someone to have a good healthy relationship with each other and NCT are great proff of that. They're a big group and some of them only talk when they work on a song together, but they're all still friends and at least have a respect and care for one another that makes them so refreshing to watch. They don't pretend to be closer than they are, they're well aware of how big the group is and how different everyone's dynamic is. It's fun and they've talked about how at the end of the day they have a bond based on the fact that they all had one drea which was to make music and perform and they all came from different places to do that and there's a very honest, nice relationship with this group. They may not be everyone's definition of family, but they formed their own kind and that's awesome.

Even if some are not really close they still respect and care for each other

The 23 of them are not exactly besties because some of them have met each other very few times but they do respect and admire each other enough to get along when they meet

the different units are close like immediate family while across units, ot23 definitely feels more like extended family like jungwoo said: people you don't see often but are still family at the end of the day

People underestimate how close they are just because they aren't together on screen all the time. But I think fans need to remember that we only see a very small portion of their lives. For example, Chenle has said that he actually hangs out with Taeil and Johnny a lot. But a lot of ppl assume they're not close just because they're not in the same unit and they don't usually hang out on camera. And Xiaojun talked about how he often works out with Jaehyun and Jeno, etc. People have this idea that it's impossible for 23 ppl to get along, but that's not true especially when you all are working for a same goal and dream. They don't even all have to be best friends but to assume they hate each other or don't get along doesn't make sense.

I love how all the members have unique personalities that just make the group as a whole fun and chaotic. There are so many different dynamics between the members, that I never get bored watching their content.

it really bothers me when people say “there’s gotta be at least a couple members who don’t like each other” as a way to say that they’re not that close. But of course your going to have small fights within the group and it’s only apart of the process. Even if you aren’t best friends with each other they’re still great, close friends.

3:44 Johnny's height is 1.85 m so basically he's around 6'1. And also in 3:56 Haechan and Doyoung (the two who 'argued'), are pretty close in a weird way, because they petty fight pretty often. It's just their dynamics i guess. When Doyoung argues with Haechan, he rlly rarely wins it's so funny.

since they rarely see each other bc their in diff units and have diff dorms when specific members meet its kinda awkward they even have a show abt it on their yt still they respect and care for each other though and sometimes members that are close but are in diff units hang out

I think of NCT like a theater or dance company. You work closely with the people in your ensemble and then sometimes come together for a full company performance. You don't know everyone super well but its fun to see each other and make something new and you're all proud to be part of the same troupe.

All the 23 members might not be super close but each of the individual subunits are practically family.It’s just that since all of them did their trainee year’s together and practically grew up together they are quite comfortable when they meet .It’s like meeting your cousins after a while.The ones that fight and bicker openly are the closest,The whole of NCT is quite formal and cordial with the members they don’t know that well.

it really showed dynamics it didn't show like the funny moments the teasing bullying like the moments that give u "wtf" vibes

In the last content we could see how close they are, even if there's 3 missing members (Winwin and Ten are in China, Lucas is on hiatus).

I don't think that it's they're not all close but they don't all live together or interact on a daily basis with each other but from what I've seen if they don't have a closer relationship they at least respect each other

its not that they are not all close there are some members who don't see each other often so they don't hang out but they are all friends. also because of NCT 2020 and NCT 2021 the members have now become so close even with members not from their unit bc they have gotten a lot closer through their interactions during promotions
