This was Sungchan, not Shotaro actually! But yes this still wasn't even the full song, this is AWESOME! The longer song has another verse from Jeno and Yangyang leading into Johnny's "NCT We Mobbin'" line. And the song is SO much fun live! Sungchan did get some DIRECT training from Taeyong when he was in NCT so it makes sense. He's even stepped in for Taeyong when he was missing from some unit stages because of his injury a few years ago. We used to say they resembled each other too. Now it's been long enough that I don't see it anymore, but still. Man I miss NCT Sungchan lol but Riize has a different vibe so Sungchan has a different energy there that he suits perfectly as well.

It’s possible that Sungchan (not Shotaro) reminded you of Taeyong because Taeyong mentored him a lot. There is a lot of behind the scenes footage of Taeyong working with Sungchan on his rapping. Even though Mark doesn’t need guidance, Taeyong still even checks on Mark too. I remember that some of the younger members said they were specifically watching and learning from Taeyong while filming this track video too. He is such a great leader!

@@alongfortheridereacts I love SongChan so much. At the beginning of his debut with NCT, I used to say him Baby Taeyong, and after I got to know him more, he’s became actually Baby Taeyong. Even after he left to riize, I see him as Baby Taeyong, and in the future, SungChan will be one of the best rappers, You need to hear the full song with lyrics, as well as the live performance, Thanks 💚🧡

Thank you for reacting. I personally think NCT's track videos are the best in K-pop because they give you the highlights in the best way possible. All of 127's are so good, but also, Misifit & The Bat completely took me out. Also don't know if you realized or maybe you did say it & I just didn't pay attention but Kangaroo was also a track video because their is a longer version of the song but I don't know why SM decided to call it archive video along with the rest of the Golden Age track videos released like The Bat.

The first time I saw track videos, I think it was in 2020 when NCT127 had track videos for all the bsides in their full album Neozone, it was iconic 🔥💚 And this song, I love it so much, love all the live performances as well 🔥🔥🔥

First, congrats on 10k. Well deserved. Why am I not surprised that you loved this. It also blew me away when I first saw the mv. . NCT has some of the best rappers in the business, and as I recall this was the first time that the Rap Line was showcased. There’s a reason why some people who don’t pay much attention to Kpop have heard of Mark. I’m usually not much for sentiment, but I actually miss Sungchan in NCT. He did a great job here. Also, thanks for the mini tirade about track videos: I generally find them frustrating. I agree that with the money that’s being spent they might as well release a full video. It often depends on the edit: it works well here and with U’s “The Bat” and 127’s “Earthquake,” among others. On the other hand, I hate the edit for “Lemonade.”
