I believe I need this? I've never had oil leak problems before until i put a bigger piston, which feels like I have more extra compression. I always put better quality gasket material in every engine I have, its still possible I didn't leveled all screws? but I always make sure I do..?

My tube came loose that runs from the left rear of scooter, can I use this tube to replace it even though it's not used for tht purpose. I see what you used it for but I need the tube to connect it to the one I lost will this tube work?

I'm a little confused as to why you would remove the dip stick and install this? Isn't there already a tube that runs from the crankcase to the carb as part of new antipollution requirements??

Reduced crankcase pressue allows the piston to travel along its stroke more freely and avoids oil foaming and not being able to create a lubrication film on the internals. And no there are 0 lines that run from the crankcase to the carb your thinking of the breather from the valve cover to intake tube. That is also commonly removed and replaced with a breather for performance reasons.

I have two questions for you. #1 Do you still need this pressure excape valve if you are installing a performance oil cooling kit? #2 what is the black box mounted on the gy5 Righ next to the pice you just installed?

you can still use this with an oil cooler yes, and the part your talking about is the starter

typically if you are revving above 9500 on the 49cc motor it will help

@@Theruckshop ok cuz im been having this starting issue where I doesnt crank right. Does half a crank then I have to release and do it again almost like it has to much crankcase pressure

Can't i just cut the hose like 1-2" long and keep it short so it looks better..? Is that end piece like a one way check valve?..

you can but it will be easier for things to get caught up in the hose. if you do end up getting blow by in the hose the longer the hose then the more room the oil has to move up it. if its only cut a couple inches shy of the screw in bung then if you have blow by it will splatter all over your wheel

I installed this on my gy6 150 with big bore kit and I took it for a ride and oil came up and out of tube at high rpm. What would cause that too much oil or is something else possibly wrong

What have you done with the original head breather, you need it to atmosphere, rather than tying back in to any pressure system, or vacuum.

it is for releasing excess crankcase pressure while at high rpms.

@@damnsilly666 no it will not change that. if you have oil passing then you may have bad rings in the motor or a lot of blow by from compression

what's wrong with the standard GY6 crankcase breather system? is it no good?

Ant Laud just helps with freeing up pressure in the crank case so motor can spin better we use them more on the 49cc GET as they need all the help we can give them to get to 55 mph

@@TheJimmysGarage have you checked your piston and serial number I also bet you do not have the standard 49 but instead a 64cc head. this was a common thing a lot of people have then and with proper tuning they can hit 60mph

missing a can and a filter. the oil wont go out the hose on a 49cc or gy6 like it would a boosted vehicle
