Hi, I've just picked up a Seafix (the 1960's version) for a silly minimum bid on eBay. Not taken delivery yet ;-) Did you find a diagram / manual / schematic online ? I've done a bit of a search but no joy as yet.
Unfortunately no I have not found any manuals or diagrams for it. I do have a Seafix single A4 brochure, a double sided page that does give some indications about it. I can do a scan if you wish and stick it into a google share if of help?
That would be great if could, thankyou. It seems like quite a simple circuit to reverse engineer. I put a minimum bid in for it, a while back, and completely forgot I'd done it. @@ef91valve Hi again. It turned up. The Ferrite rod had been twisted and snapped off the three wires. I've rewired it (based on photos) you can now hear BBC R4, but it tunes more like a crystal set. Very low Q. I think I must have one of the three ferrite rod wires incorrect 😔
