It’s funny because a lot of mma fans genuinely think Muay Thai as a base for MMA isn’t good but guys like Shavkhat, Chito, Ian, Fiziev are proof it can work on a high level form
@@ssj4goku18825theepic but all those guys get wrestled fucked (besides shavkat) on the highest level as well Like it’s definitely not impossible and as bad of a base as most fans say, it’s just really fckn hard lol
@@shumishu6019 not true Ian and Fiziev have exceptional TDD and so does Petr Yan especially who’s handled those issues well minus the Merab fight(even then he handled it better than 99% of guys ever could). It’s all disciplinary and comes down to skill natural talent and the smart/hard work being put into practice
"neal missed weight but im paying him anyway" yea that's a man with integrity, paying bonuses to fighters who are ineligible to fight at their signed weight class
How? Neal and shavkat actually engaged and threw hands, unlike when Ian Garry fought and ran and Neal clinched and did nothing. It looked more like sparring than a real fight
disappointmentyes6387 Have to disagree, Ian didn't even fight him, but rather threw a couple of strikes and ran around the octagon while Geoff couldn't cut him off for whatever reason. That "fight" lowered both of their stocks while Shavkat and Geoff raised theirs with their match.
