Even when you had gone past, there was no evidence of any avoiding action from them. Right after you went past, he is on the apex of the corner so its lucky you went past as early as you did, otherwise it could've been a lot more serious!!

Nothing changes . I had two Bmw’s 320i and 325i both times the Speedometer stopped working i used to gauge my speed by Rpm and Gear i was in . 😊

Yes you can overtake on a track day by the right. But it doesn't mean you have to do something so stupid and dangerous just for the likes. That was one of the dumbest overtake and the consequences could have been tragic. He played with the life of his passenger and also with the life of the guy he was overtaking.
