I use Monfrotto legs with a spreader and an older Monfrotto 501 head. I’ll update the legs to carbon next

@@BradJacobson Hi Brad. Cool of you to respond to my question re: kit. I've used a Monfrotto head a few times and struggled a bit. That said, I imagine if I were to use one more often I'd have a better feel for it. Your pans are super smooth. It's good to know that one doesn't have to have a Sachtler tripod to get those results. I gather the carbon legs would be lighter than what you've been using up till now? One last thing: I grew up surfing in So. Cal. I live in NY now and so many surf videos become a bit repetitive after a while, but the way you put yours together with you in them, it makes them really personal and fun to watch. Keep up the good work.

I read em! Music is a beast when producing so many episodes. I try to mix it up each episode. My most recent episode (Wedge) I stuck with the raw sound.
